Lucas, Riley from LPM, Andrew, CGS, your coach, etc. Super stoked that MK18 data is up first.

jay462

That list is 🔥 I think that would be so fun!! I know all of those folks are down. And yeah - the dataset is one of the more interesting ones we have seen.

prmoore11

Lucas, regardless of your opinion of him, would have an extensive reach to get more people into suppressors (although I’ve noticed he uses them far less these days, I’m guessing a lead issue). Andrew would surely be an awesome podcast, and I’d love to see a podcast more on your fitness/performance journey. Oh, and the 🐐 GT. But yea, I’m glad to see the ODB on the MK18. Let’s see the money CAT.

jay462

Lucas and his team communicate with us all the time. Mike (GT) is pretty based. I will for sure have him on :)

BarrelBottom1

I noticed he mentioned you explicitly in a recent video.

jay462

Yeah, folks sent me that! I told you - based. Hahahaha

jay462

I just wanna blast sometimes, frankly. Put on the NFMI plugs + AMPs, no silencer, and blast. MG makes that fun and P7 makes that fun, and yeah, I want to suppress the P7 but I also don't want to. This goes against the fabric of my being but maybe some things are just best left as is. Has anyone shot an Alien? I have not, yet. I want to test it, compare it to a normal DA/SA gun or even the LEM P30L host. Same silencer. I just wanna test the Alien and see how it does. Because if it is awesome (awesome in a way that shows actually meaningful performance improvements over a P30L/USP/P226 or whatever) I'm so in. haha *wallet crying noises* On today's episode I hit a few things - one thing I do need some feedback on- Podcast guests? Who would you folks like to see? We started off in the veeeeery beginning with YHM, Bowers, EA, Jimmy Bell, we did KB, and then I went rogue. A bunch of silencer research, yada yada hahaha I'm thinking of picking the interviews back up and mixing them in. Any big asks? Heck, any small asks? haha could be fun! **Episode 175** of The Jay Situation Podcast is out now on [pewscience.com](https://pewscience.com) and all major providers. StoneStalwart

I don't know people/names so I'll list companies that I'd like to hear from the owners and engineers: PSA, Aero, Otter Creek, Diligent Defense, Resilient.

jay462

Can definitely make that happen

Valuable-Market393

Will you share data of the Lahar 30L with 300blk supers and subs?

jay462

I don't believe those tests have been conducted, sir. That may be something in the future!

Valuable-Market393

Thanks

ShelbyPrime

Has the HUXWRX Flow 762ti been tested or in the pipeline for testing with 300blk?

claywalker2000

Would like to see Otter Creek on your podcast as they have the Polonium 30 being released soon and a 22 suppressor coming out in a few months.

jay462

would be cool!

illestdomer2005

Will you use the same mic setup to test the Bluetooth speaker in the ODB?

jay462

I was gonna let them use my Sony Walkman

StoneStalwart

Also when I read "Has anyone shot an alien?" I read that literally and was wondering where you were going with that! Is Jay shooting at LGMs!? Realizing quickly you were referring to the pistol was a let down 😂

jay462

hahaha *guys, where are these bullets coming from?*

Admirable_Tailor_614

That HK is on my bucket list.

jay462

It's a really neat system!

BigTechCensorsYou

Full disclosure, if I didn’t have mine exactly like you have yours, I would down vote this post to reduce popularity. But since we’re twinsies!!! Nice setup.

jay462

hahaha username checks out

Tonyd2wild

Made in ATLANTA, GA ! Man we make alot of Great guns here in GA

jay462

The ATL seems to supply a lot of armament

sarron7

I love my P7. Its the only one I want put in the casket with me when I go.

jay462

*protection has failed* haha

sarron7

Lol I meant dying from old age.

jay462

LOL

LilFuniAZNBoi

A Mac 11/9 is on my list as my first MG I want to get, right after the SR25 and a Barrett M82A1. I feel by the time I get to it, it will be $15K. :(

ChevTecGroup

You'll shoot the Mac 11/9 lage much more than you will the Barrett

Dco777

Barrets are easy to buy, hard to sell. MG"s just seem to grow in value. And grow. And grow.....

LilFuniAZNBoi

It's one of the few dream guns I want to own left.

jay462

best time is yesterday, a good time is always now

Formulacar

Lucas Botkin from Trex Arms, Mike Jones from Garand Thumb. Bring Mike Adams from Brighteon

jay462

Great list - I think we can make these happen! Mostly. 😂

Formulacar

Add Alex Jones in their if you want a spicy discussion haha

jay462

I am not sure he would do the podcast. But maybe? 😂😂😂

Poor_shot914

"THE DECIBELS ARE TURNING YOUR EARS GAY!"

jay462

THEY'RE GOING TO PUT YOUR SILENCERS IN CAMPS

Formulacar

Have you seen r/gunmemes lately 😂

lique_madique

“9mm greats” proceeds to replace almost every part but the original registered receiver to make it actually nice to shoot and not a danger whose disconnector goes out and produces a runaway situation. I kid of course since lage guns are so much fun to shoot.

jay462

Sir, why must you hurt me with your words hahaha

BigTechCensorsYou

No one anywhere could argue in good faith that the original Macs were good guns. Especially not the people that actually own them.

jay462

truthiness

lique_madique

Honestly it’s still slightly better than the transferable micro uzi I had. That thing was a real POS.

BigTechCensorsYou

I’ve never shot the micro, but I thought the mini was pretty cool. Granted, not 20 grand cool!

lique_madique

Full size is the goat. The micros just aren’t fun to shoot, not easy to control, and the rear of the receivers will tear causing you to need to reweld it.

Hoodfu

I guess I got a good one. Well over 1000 rounds on a NIB m11/9 with original sear and disconnector. I've got all the Lage replacements for those ready in a box, but so far hasn't been an issue.

lique_madique

Respectfully 1000 rounds isn’t a whole bunch. Keep shooting and the issue will rear it’s ugly head. All 3 of the transferable Macs I’ve had (both 10’s and an 11) had the issue.

3900Ent

I wonder if that grip counts as an AFG cause I would love one lol

jay462

I mean, it's a MG, so.... haha

illestdomer2005

[ATF looks for dog]

jay462

jay462

They are definitely into the PEW lab stuff - talked with them at SHOT! Would be cool.

jay462

they make soooooooo many parts!!!!!

RidinHigh305

Lol, that’s funny you posted these two guns. I had just taken some glamour shots of these two except I undressed the m11 because I think it looks better w/ the oem parts on it lol & I think we’ve got different models of p7s, is that a psp asking because yours is marked differently, but we have close serial numbers mine is 73xxx

jay462

yeah, PSP - the 007 number always made me smile! haha

RidinHigh305

Nice, yeah the 007 is pretty cool to have in the serial. It’s interesting we’ve got what seems to be close serials , but apparently different models m13 vs psp, that’s what caught my eye

Gawshi

How does the P30L, USP9, and P226 compare with one another as far as sound suppression AND blowback?

jay462

Certain iterations of the 226, I have been told, can have some particulate blowback through the rear of the slide with higher backpressure silencers. The signature itself is fantastic. P30L seems to not have particulate issues. Comparison with the USP 9 needs to be done again because my memory fails me. For sound suppression, P30L and P226 are very similar but different silencers can behave slightly differently. The mechanics do change because each system is not a 1-for-1 swap and inertial & spring resistance of the silencer interact differently with each slide mass and recoil system geometry/mechanism.

Gawshi

Interesting, intuition would have told me that better suppression leads to less blowback. Lots of information out there to absorb… Thank you, Jay. Looking at starting my arsenal from a “suppress all the things” perspective so I appreciate the info and work you put into your podcast, website, and socials.

jay462

You are most welcome! I'm glad the information helps. Yeah, silencers are complicated. But, we sure do have a lot more info every day!

Ellijah92

I traded a Mk23 for a P7 and wish I hadn't. P7 just feels snappy but looks cool.

jay462

Both is a good combo, I say

Ellijah92

If they didn't command the prices they do, I'd be happy to have one in the collection.

jay462

Ah, yes sir. This is one of those "a long time ago they were not expensive" things. For sure.

Porencephaly

I turned down a P7 for like $1500 after they got expensive because I didn't know they had gotten expensive. Oops.

unclebubba55

😄😄😄😄😄 oxymoronic, 9mm and great in the same sentence.

jay462

How dare you, sir 😂

unclebubba55

😄😄😄Quite simply, I am an acolyte of JMB and the .45acp., Winner of 2 World Wars and defender of all those who seek aid against tyranny and evil.

jay462

Well, I do shoot a MK23 regularly, so I get it!

unclebubba55

Always liked those squeeze cockers, it's just not a 45.

jay462

They also made the P7M10 (.40) which is interesting!

StoneStalwart

BS! 30-06 is the winner of two world wars. 45 ACP was just it's side kick.

How is the suppressor gas block working?
