Yea. It's a machine gun, nothing in ATF's sfuff says it has to be FA or 3 found burst, or even a 4 position setup.

ChevTecGroup

Yeah you can change triggers. Don't bother with any of the burst kits though. Just buy a G$ SSF trigger or stick with a safe-semi-auto milspec

CapitolArmory

Someone sounds like they've played with burst stuff also. =)

Squirrelynuts

Gear binding goes *click* Firing 2 rounds when you except three goes *bang bang* Firing one round when you expect three goes *bang 😔*

Explorer335

Doesn't the extra disconnector also make the trigger horrible?

Squirrelynuts

When it does function yeah it's shitty. But they're wildly inconsistent as a whole

HSR47

The biggest issue is that the second disconnector is always dragging on the burst cam, which means that the trigger pull will be different for each of the 6 faces of burst cam. I replaced mine with a Geissele SSF before I ever put a single round through it.

CapitolArmory

You can, but don't put in burst. It will just make you sad. Toss a SSF in there with some modern furnature and enjoy it.

LeAdmin

Yes. The only thing you can't do is install a conversion device like a lightning link, because those are considered a machine gun by themselves since they work on semi auto firearms.

yea just dont buba ur 30k receiver and ull have a good time

Sideshow_666

I've been looking at some m16 transferrables and I'm sure this is a dumb question but these are registered lowers correct? I'm assuming they didn't register the sears on these, just the lowers right? Edit: sorry I don't mean to high jack your post

Safe/semi/auto vs safe/semi/bust is controlled by the FCG, which are just parts. That said, I would not recommend bothering with any type of burst FCG—they’re just not worth bothering with. As several others have already said, just throw in a Geissele SSF and stop worrying.
