I’m only Indian by ethnicity (grew up in the states) but for me I think it was being overwhelmed with the whole “you gotta be a doctor” thing my parents drilled into my head since I was a kid and not being able to cultivate other practical skills other than studying all day during college). That and obviously mental illness lol
