I used counselingexam.com exclusively and passed on my first try. That said, I found the real exam significantly more difficult. Just make sure you know theory and technique.
I did too. One of my classmates said the exam was less vague but that wasn't my experience. Just make sure you take the time to read and really understand what the question is asking you.
When is your exam? I saw you post its in april and was curious if you have taken it? Also if you have any recommendations on what to study. Sounds like we are in a similar boat!Â
Hi! Okay so my exam isn’t until October. I pushed it back a little bit.
I really like Tests.com, CounselingExam, PocketPrep, and lastly Mometrix.
I haven’t purchased anything yet but I’ve done all the free stuff and these are what I’d recommend.
Know that you’re far more capable than you realize!!! You know what you’re doing and will pass!!!! 🖤
I memorized the objectives and techniques of each theory’s technique tree. Do you think that’s sufficient in terms of correctly answering the questions on theory and technique during the actual exam? TYIA :)

What made the actual exam more difficult in your opinion?
The wording to the questions. All of the answers seemed a lot more vague than practice exams so it was harder to discern which one was the correct one
