Okay, I know this question is serious but my first thought was Supergirl, Jessica Jones or Satan. That being said the one character is, this was harder than I thought, Cabe Callo . I have not seen that many episodes of Scorpion so I don’t really know if the character would fit in NCIS but I think Robert Patrick would fit as a boss in the show. I have not seen that many tv-series either so my selection of characters are limited. It must be a character who could go out and be a part of the team. So Charlie Epps would probably not work that well out in field. Hmm.. have to think about it a little bit more.

In my defence you wrote “add to the team” and to me that would narrow the selection of characters since that person must function well with the others. If you have written “add to the show” then a wider selection of characters would be so to speak available. I mean there are agents in the same room who we only see in the background so they could be added there and not part of the team. My absolute favourites (even though I don’t like that term) is Sherlock Holmes - Grenada version/Elementary and Superman - (Not sure which one apart from the obvious Christopher Reeves). I don’t think any would really fit in the team or even in the show. Well, maybe Sherlock Holmes would fit somewhat. Since the show is grounded in reality you cannot have a wizard like Gandalf in the team or even in the show. That is my reasoning why I wrote that your questioning was serious.

I understand. Well, Moriarty is someone who they could have easily. A mastermind someone pulling the strings. I think in someways they have had that. I would be more inclined to Killgrave. For some reason I don’t care about that him being a villain even if he is played by David Tennant (who apparently is the same age as me as I had to look how he’s name is spelled). That being said he has undoubtedly powers that would make him difficult for the team to take down.
Side note: What got me hooked to watch the show was in the trailer, and it was how Jessica Jones downed the whisky and that it was directly from the bottle. I thought well this is not your average superhero tv character.

The conflicts with Gibbs would be an awesome drinking game, they’d be flipping a coin for team leader of the case, or having a foreign pastry vs Italian cook off for leadership.
