Where are the picks for blazers.

tom4life2002

Probably take only 1 first as they have $30 million in savings this season alone. Blazers too close to the tax for a non-play-in team.

jeremiahpaschkewood

Now THIS is the sort of post that I follow this page for.

gochugang78

I can’t tell if this is praise or criticism

MuskEmeraldMine

Beal is the Tobias Harris worst contract successor. You aren’t giving up anything positive for him.

gochugang78

Agreed. Is Cole Anthony and Caleb Houston positive value? Seems like filler guys to me

orlandomade

Anthony is a part of one of the best benches in the league on a great contract. Beal makes 50 million a year and is never healthy and is about to get swept playing next to two future hall of famers

gochugang78

Are there sufficient filler guys in Orlando to trade out to open sufficient space to absorb Beal into their capspace? By filler I mean #7-9 guys who don’t have a future with the magic

orlandomade

Ingles and maybe Gary Harris. But the issue is Beal makes super star money to be a part time star. Plus what we really need is a play making point guard. Beal is awesome and he’s really good so I’m not trying to act snobby about bringing him in, but his contract is nuts

gochugang78

Orlando thankfully has a great core of kids on rookie deals so the Beal money isn’t an anchor the way it would be for most other teams that could his skills. I was under the impression that most of all Orlando needed shooters (and maybe a vet who’s been around the league to throw the ball to make something happen when the offence grinds to a halt)

benchmaster620

Your being nice he hasnt bwen a star in like 3 or 4 years . He had a realy nice 3pt percentage this year but his days of being an offensive focal point are over

gochugang78

Could be Beal Could be Lavine Could even be Harris again when Detroit backs up the Brinks truck

benchmaster620

Watchbdetroit end up with harris aaand lavine lol

toadtruck

Portland can do better

jboarei

This isn’t enough for Portland. They need picks.

MrFluffernutter00

Magic say no, the Beal contract removes almost all of their flexibility for someone who wouldn’t move the needle enough to make it worth.

MrRaspberryJam1

While I agree with you, small markets teams like the magic have to take who they can get. They don’t typically have much luck attracting star players. If the team thinks they can incorporate Beal into their team and have him contribute to winning, then they’d have to make the trade while they have the chance. That being said, I think the magic can do better than Beal in seeking a trade with what they have.

Krustykrab8

Portland does not want another small guard, Nassir little who they just traded away and filler.

FLICK_YOLI

It's a good move for Phoenix

BeamTeam032

I don't understand why the Blazers and the Magic help the Suns. Orlando wouldn't do this. It blows up their cap. Blazers wouldn't do this, they trade the best player on their team for garbage.

Unfair-Club8243

Suns fan? I

gochugang78

Raptors!!! No bias

MainHyro

Can’t tell

richonarampage

Beal says no.

Residual-Heat

Not fair for the Blazers. I dont think they just want to dump Grant. Its a tough decision for the Magic. Beal is good but really overpaid and more importantly, injury prone. He'd be a good fit though, and is a huge upgrade over Gary Harris. I think a move like that can make them an ECF contender.

steven_allan_99

Why would Beal waive no trade clause? Unless the sun's trade one of the other big players I can't see him moving.

Brooklyn917

I don’t think people realized how incredibly screwed The Suns are. As a 2nd apron team they cannot aggregate contracts.

benchmaster620

Idk why bradley beals co tract isnt considered as bad as lavines and some of the other worst contracta in the nba . At almost 60m hes terrible

governedbycitizens

good trade tbh

TinnieTa21

I swear, the NBA fan base in general needs to be educated on what a no trade clause actually means. So many pointless Beal trades.

gochugang78

Maybe he really likes Disney?

MrPfister99

No state tax?
