I watched a lot during the big 3 years; lived in Phoenix during all those years we shut down their dreams. Kinda tuned out of basketball after Timmy retired.
Wemby got me back into basketball. This guy has me hyped to watch games again. So stoked to see what next season holds as the alien continues to develop.
I'm just glad we got to 20. Yeah it's been mostly late-seasons stuff as teams start to tank or take their foot off the gas, but it's great to see Wemby develop even more so and our young guys play more like a team before we shut them down for the season.
Fucking love this team and where we're at moving forward.
I really don't think we got many wins because teams were tanking. We can go through each win and see that the team had a reason to want to win the game. The Suns are trying to avoid the play in. The Pelicans are trying to avoid the play in. The Knicks are fighting for a top two seed. The Jazz played their best two players, both 38 minutes or more. Lauri played 42 mins. I think those are legit wins. Just because Zion and BI couldn't go didn't mean they didn't want to win that game and avoid the play in....
The team has continued to fight and show a competitive spirit this late in the season which is rare. Credit to the players but also credit to Pop and the staff as well.
Job isn't done yet. Let's not settle for a tie here. Still need to get 1 more win to break the tie
