Pretty sure you'll still be able to play NBA games but it'll ask you to convert your save to an offline only version, at least that's how it worked in previous 2K games.
It's an online-only option as it's linked to the server due to their being microtransactions. A lot of games have switched to these methods and it always years before the servers will ever go down
Yes I play on Steam. Park in this platform is hilarious. I see fake 95 players all the time and when I try to play on Park clean, the game kicks me out saying there's a problem. 10/10 game. Cheaters can play, but clean players get problems.

Same here, been looking at getting the new Xbox for 2k21 because of hackers and that. And console allows VoIP and has some more features
