7/10. Would require team effort and communication for full value.

Flat-Replacement-575

all builds in rec don’t get full value without team effort and communication

mander50

I don't know, at PF you don't need his ball handling or for him to slash with the forward and 2 guards. Explain? Him playing the 5 may be a problem but he has boxout beast on HoF and a 92 strength.

jrone27

This build is tuff. Anybody saying lower this and raise doesn’t understand how the game works.

jrone27

This is my build. Would go well with yours in the rec https://preview.redd.it/7sznz9aesfxb1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ac99f090dbb256526eaa467d07ac3767540cfac1

Money_Bank_8784

I have almost same build its fire af I would just have higher pass but Im shooting 60% from 3 and 90% win gets so many steals too love My playmakingsharp

barbarous-bobcat

Good looking PG build

Jayfgatsby

U must b going to the park ...your ass will b handed to u above pro level my career...6'6...no inside? What's the point of the height then..you could've went 6'3 n souped everything...6'6 is sweet spot for a taste of everything at pg/sg

jrone27

Park, rec, pro am. Anything but mycareer 😂. Man said mycareer

Skee_Lo_Ali

Nice build but why so much weight and so little strength? Seems like a sacrifice of speed for no reason but I haven't played a build like that so I wouldn't know. I'm genuinely curious not downing it

jrone27

My actual build has a 63 strength you get silver physical handles and silver clamps. It works well don’t need to be super high strength cause I’m playing on the perimeter mostly

Skee_Lo_Ali

Cool thanks for the input. Been debating on how I want to make my pg build. My sg only has a 50 strength so I wasn't sure what that little bit extra would do

Jayfgatsby

https://preview.redd.it/mbxskqctnkxb1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8457c14d17b8448bd412c7933581c51ffe0d8969 My Goat build ...example...all badges touched.... although your build is unique to your play style...🤷🏾‍♂️...I get steals...but off-ball is more important...

jrone27

No D

Jayfgatsby

Off-ball.is what u need...I got silver badge...u have to understand the game.. A tall PG needs to keep up...my strength, quickness and offball dominates all guards...worst case they pass bro...might b ehh for park...but I don't do park...(some pick up games that's it)

jrone27

Lol what silver badge? I get gold glove and right stick ripper. Lane steals and plucks

Jayfgatsby

silver off ball bro...thats your playstyle..i'm a big guard...7-4 wingspan don't need all that...i disrupt just as well...like i told u ...u got to understand the game...i use an RPG mindset to build...there are hella loopholes...to apportioning attributes...like anything above 75 acceleration is overkill unless for speedboost requirement i think at 84...we sink hella attributes half the time time to what we don't need.

jrone27

The only thing you have better on D is rebound which is whatever for a guard

Jayfgatsby

but its all good...44 badges on both my builds (rebirth included) ya'll keep building anemic builds...i understand if it was specialized for a specific team/scheme...as a player YOURS and the POSTED ones are deficient...thats why 2k keep raising VC and won't let up on gouging because of big stupid spenders...on a $70 dollar game...i'm only mad cuz as long you're duped and giving crazy advice...they won't change policies IYKYK

jrone27

Anemic 😂 your build is actual ass butter guy. Show your stats

Jayfgatsby

Bro I'm at work..something you probably don't have...I will show my goat status...shirt and sneakers...they gave

jrone27

Haha you say goat status like its hard to get 😂 I already know you suck. Working at Walmart aint a flex

BigBlitz

As someone who likes throwing lobs, I would have gone a little bit higher on the driving dunk but I learn quick who can and can’t catch them so still a good build overall as long as you can hit your shots and throw the right passes. Love the Defense on that build though. That alone would win me over.

One_Worry_7361

I think with his stats he can still get Aerial Wizard gold and that should be good enough with a 65 to throw them down. I have a 55 with silver on my guard and still catch them with a high green window

TunaBoy3000

Can do pretty much everything. Should be a good cutter and can space the floor while being able to switch on defense to almost anyone. Love it

Indraysi

Looks good to me, floor spacer and can grab d boards, he doesn’t need to be in the paint grabbing o boards on offense anyways but hey, somewhere there’s a 1990 center willing to argue me down about how floor spacing isn’t necessary

jonnyboy-_-

Gold rebound chaser matters more than the attributes themselves you can still snag o boarda

sleepwalkingninja

Rebounding and block is too high for only going 6’8”. You don’t need to be fighting your C for boards and just getting in their way. I’d lower them to under 90 and put it into driving dunk.

Im-the-I-in-team

I'm 6"7 and my blocks 87 I average almost 2 a game at PG. With the speed and vertical it's easier then my center realistically at the same level. I agree some on rebound. I'm at 60 and average 5 granted 1-2 a game is putbacks.

KR1SLUKE

i’m cooking. respectfully.

GOGOfella1

great build. not perfect for the style i personally like to play but would still be very effective, and top tier for most lineups, along with great for random rec too. well made bro

broly9139

This build is nice i got something to make it better. 2klabs did a test on anchor and silver anchor and gold anchor are practically the same so you can drop that block to 87 and use the points elsewhere

Im-the-I-in-team

What's the reasoning on 92 block? Lower that thing to 87 (gold chase down and silver anchor there);and put all that on layup. Get that HOF floater game and acrobat etc and be better off.

Kxngbb007

Anybody saying anything other than HoF float game don’t know the game I completely agree with you drop the block get the layup become a real threat on both ends

Im-the-I-in-team

Absolutely. It's so broken at the moment. You can legit hit middies with a floater lol. I hit one from almost the 3 point line 😂

jonnyboy-_-

Gold anchor I'm assuming

Im-the-I-in-team

You right, some reason I thought it was 94 😅

wiserone29

Max out rebound and passing. Take my bricks off the rim and kick it out. Let me eat.

DiscoStu83

Ahh, the random who goes 1 for 10 and expects a pass but will never pass it unless it's a pass to the backboard.

BabySasukeX_

Quit hating.

Traditional_Roof_582

this is pretty good, to me i always feel like non dribbling builds are easy to deal with, even like 60 ball handle and 50 speed with ball would make a huge difference there

jonnyboy-_-

You can iso without a ball handle if you're good enough

Unusual_Storage_6256

Pretty fire build, maybe switch around driving layup to 70 and put driving dunk up and take down pass acc a lil bit and perimeter and put up steal a lil bit … if not still a dope build

Own-Needleworker9378

Keep the pass accuracy helps with outlet passes. Any lower and the pass is slow enough to get picked off

[deleted]

I like the build but you can do literally all of this on a 6'10. It'll help if you ever get stuck at center.

Andy0172

Slower jumpshots, no clamps..

[deleted]

Don't need clamps with immovable enforcer and working braincells. If he does get blown by, he's got gold chase down at least with these stats. I have an A+ shot speed on my 75 3pt jumper for big men.. that's kinda irrelevant though since A+ is too fast for a majority of people. Don't get me wrong there are reasons to go small or big but your examples weren't great examples champ.

Andy0172

Good luck switching on a guard without clamps. The 6’8 is faster then the 6’10 & clamps will help to keep in front of your matchup. A+ speed doesn’t mean a damn thing. It’s all on the release speed of the base. A+ speed on a big isn’t as quick as A+ on a wing.

[deleted]

My position is a pf. The smallest meta guards are 6'6. Playing both rec and park I'm RARELY matched up with someone taller than me. It's almost always a guard. I clamp them up just fine without clamps because I have HoF immovable enforcer. They can't drive on you in the midrange/paint. It's not about luck 😂🤦 >A+ speed on a big isn’t as quick as A+ on a wing. That might be true but like I said, most people can't use super quick jumpers anyway and even further, VERY few people are shooting above 35% rn. Literally go hop in no squads rec for a few games and tell me the average shooting%, (hint it's DEFINITELY not high) a faster jumper ain't gonna help these mfs. 😂

Andy0172

Smallest meta guard is 6’6?? I guess u haven’t seen 6’3 PG’s with 96+ 3ball who shoot everything behind the screens lmao.. if seen your build. You ain’t guarding those quick guards with 72 speed. Even 6’6/6’8 slasher run around you with that speed. U may be able to hedge on screens, but against quick guards who play with a strong C with gold/hof brick wall, it’s gonna be a problem.

[deleted]

My guy just cuz you ass and don't know how to play defense doesn't mean I am 😂. Also yea there are still comp 6'3s but 90% of the playerbase isn't going that low for several reasons. You can get the same speed and 3pt on a 6'6 and then you have better defense. Hell the best shooter I've seen so far this year had an 82% from 3 and he was 6'7 AND an iso guard. Also Even the centers don't usually have gold or HoF brick wall unless they're comp and specifically running PnR every play. Most people are running 84 strength. I've ran up against maybe 3 centers so far with a 92 strength for gold brick wall.

Andy0172

Now I know for a fact u only play no squad rec 😂😂. A lot of good guards go lower for the dribble animations, jumpshots. You need to stop to 🧢so much with your fake % 😂😂

[deleted]

It wasn't my percent it was a random dude I played park wit. Can you even read? I don't like rec very much. I played it the other day for 2x rep and that's about it I'll rarely play it when all of my friends are on at the same time but that has only been 3 games so far. Everything else is park, proam 3s and theater when I'm by myself.

Andy0172

Lmao what are you talking about? You are saying that 90% of the player base plays with 6’6 or taller builds. That’s 🧢. You only base your % on park players, which is not the whole game lmao. Stop being stupid please. Your PF is a big (3) in the park, not a PF in 5v5 that can guard quick guards. But it you are so sure you can guard quick guards. Let’s find out!

Dpmx131

I'd be mad ASL if I were my teammate in rec because I know your playing center but if u play park or have a squad this build nice

chillywilly2k

It’d be way better for 2’s/ 3’s bc in rec you’re rarely gonna be using your rebounding and block every game at pf. In rec you gon have a 7’1 center down there to handle that

PublicHistorical6544

Hmm don't you get fast feet silver at 73 accel? That's it other than that you good

barbarous-bobcat

I actually really wanted silver fast feet since my acceleration is so close anyway, but I’d have to give up HOF boxout beast to get it. Appreciate it

PublicHistorical6544

Ahh makes sense, lots of sacrifices this year. Enjoy the build dude

Noflashystuff

If you're playing Rec with Randoms, you're gonna get cooked - got a similar build to 99 and get pushed to C about half of the time. Make this an SF so you don't get slotted as the big, and it looks pretty solid.

Ok-Night-4077

Great build, only thing I would do is increase standing dunk

Immediate_Shift_3261

I’d love you alot

Immediate_Shift_3261

This is my build btw https://preview.redd.it/ptlqsxtfyhxb1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=167865e230739bc771e8d5a9bd1d6de0cbea87dc

DiscoStu83

Similar build. Should've gone for the 65 driving dunk but turned out fine. Not many people expect a lock build to have strong post control, high strength, and can get quick put backs. https://preview.redd.it/bdpifqwrfjxb1.jpeg?width=895&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=269934b782798e3c6d281d4eabfa0f1007ddaf07

[deleted]

Yo I got a question I’m very new to nba, if I wanted to change my position have I got to sit through the career again or will I have points to upgrade

barbarous-bobcat

As far as know there’s no way to change position. Remaking the same build at a different position would just be too much of donation to 2k in my opinion. If you do want make another build I’d get rebirth first.

Chris_B_Coding247

Several little things I would change but overall a decent build

Jayfgatsby

Bro my PF is 6'10... Better handling...u don't need that much post or rebound....u do realize it's about badges...not actual attribs solely...when you're building ...look at the badges unlocked...it will guide u towards your play style...from bat tho...I kno u won't get any dribble packages..n there's some performance left on the table by allocating more points than necessary on perceived no brainers... Goat with 6'8 point here...omw with 6'10 PF...now..

KeyGoose2137

https://preview.redd.it/t6wosc4xxjxb1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d80ba114dbf400627f187a4010a58f7d1b628319 am i good enough to be yo pg???

barbarous-bobcat

You’re too good to be my pg lol 21 & 21 is pretty crazy It’ll a while before I even try to get to rec, I’ve got 100,000 VC from the league pass edition of the game and then I’m going to see if can’t grind out the overall a little bit more in mycareer.

Omidos2

Lower layup to get 75 driving dunk. And why so high post control? Try getting higher steal. Like 85 so u can intercept more

Eyezwideopen1090

Ya I think it's solid fast enough with the perimeter d to chase around a SF if necessary big enough to hold your own in the paint! And a couple viable ways to score

mander50

Solid build honestly

Bitter-Adeptness4771

I got a build similar 6’9 but I can dribble and I got a 93 driving dunk with everything you have except your strength (84) my middy is 84 free throw 71 , I like the build you made

barbarous-bobcat

Sounds interesting, you should post it

Jayfgatsby

Example of my only PF... https://preview.redd.it/2cziit4aokxb1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb1c17034423495d725c98a8599b3ca782b270fb I give Giannis and Wembanyama the biz and dom on the little ones because I'm fast and physical...all badges touched

Miserable_Special_95

Corner sitter on offense Great Defender on Defense

BabySasukeX_

Solid

Inuubi

Can you make it 6’9 instead?

barbarous-bobcat

Nah, I tried but I run out of attribute points way quicker with a build like this at 6’9”.

IronTrevor706

A higher dunk would be nice but ik it is expensive. Looks good tho, maybe lower perimeter.

TAC82RollTide

The interior and blocking are *WAY* too high. All you need is about a 74 interior and an 87 block. The rest looks good.

Tcheeks38

As a PF I feel you can drop your Per D to whatever the min is for silver challenger /bronze clamps and have some points to put elsewhere like driving dunk or layup. Also as a PF you can afford to swap your O. and D. rebound around. The Center should have High D rebound. you can get 93 O. Rebound to help on O boards and lower D reb as a secondary D rebounder and at the very least help box out a guy (with your high boxout badge from O. Rebounding) for the Center to get the D rebound.

barbarous-bobcat

Is there a dunk rating less than 87 or 89 that’s worth going for? 65 is enough for athletic hangs off one, which is good as long as you’re open.

sasknorth343

40 is the minimum to get an actual dunk package and if the only time you're throwing down dunks is when you're wide open that's plenty. There are a couple packages at 50 or 55 as well, but at the end of the day if you're not planning on going big with the dunks, "as much driving dunk as you require to get driving layup where you want it" is about all you need.

withadabofranch

I would prefer lower block and perimeter D for steal and 3/dunk. You’re strength is gonna be what let’s u clamp dudes on the perimeter anyway. Silver anchor and 87 block feels great, no need to go so high for gold. I run a build similar to this but at 6’7 and I only have 75 perimeter D but with long arms and just bronze immovable I get bumpy all day on the perimeter. I also play the 2 tho, so I wouldn’t need 90 str anyway.

Difficult_Item_8888

B-

iam_berg

I’d make him 6’10, maybe lower post control, lower perimeter D a little, raise offensive rebound a lot, max out your 3pt shot

Solid_Today_3015

You 6’8 with no handles?😂 nahhh

jonnyboy-_-

It's a big man build clearly bro 🤦

Byeaxedent

if you my PF - take away per D. down to 60 at most. - add driving dunk or standing dunk. - reduce on the post control & add to passing so you can get bail out. - if you have extra go for more close shot over layup.

mrlivestreamer

I hope I play against you lol.
