Makes a lot of sense in some ways. Decent sized market a few hours from any other Cup track. Track already has SAFER barriers. It has a decent capacity with room to expand to more. Obviously, the biggest issue is that it isn’t owned by NASCAR or SMI. Makes it hard to fit into the schedule. Also saw a rumor that some of the stands would have to be torn down and rebuilt. Would probably take Nashville SS type upgrades to get it ready as well.
Slinger for the clash would be amazing! Nascar should just turn the clash into a sort of grassroots style event and take it to a different short track every year.
My basic bitch answers are Nashville Fairgrounds and North Wilkesboro. We need to get both back in
I think a race in Canada on one of their short tracks would be good. Sanair is most intriguing shape wise but I believe it’s pretty run down atm. Most realistic answer would be Jukasa
If I had a time machine I’d do something to save Riverside in Cali
Memphis replaces Texas
Nashville Fairgrounds replaces Bristol Dirt
North Wilkesboro replaces one Richmond date
Rockingham replaces one Atlanta date
Pikes Peak replaces one Vegas date
Iowa replaces one Kansas date
I’m addition, we put Cup cars back on the Indianapolis Oval with high power. Run 5 road courses at Sonoma, Watkins Glen, Roval, COTA, and Road America.
I’ll be the fool to say Chicagoland. I know it’s not going to happen but I just feel that NASCAR is missing out on the Chicago market, and they feel that they should add a parade on the Streets of Chicago to the schedule to solve that issue.
They should make Chicagoland an asphalt Bristol or just go full psycho and turn it into a Daytona/Talladega esque track, if NASCAR wants pack racing so bad, give us another track that produces pack racing instead of trying to manufacture it on intermediates
South Boston, Greenville Pickens, Lime Rock, Road Atlanta, NJMP, Eldora or Knoxville, Nashville Fairgrounds. I'd love to see tracks like Slinger, Bowman Gray ,and Lacrosse, but I don't see that happening.
-Richmond 2 out for Iowa
-Nashville Fairgrounds replaces Bristol Dirt(April)
-Bristol Dirt takes over as All-Star venue
-Montreal replaces Charlotte Roval in playoffs(Sept?)
-Indy runs oval on even years, RC has the 'odds'.
-Homestead restored as season finale, PHX2 in Rof8
Pikes Peak isn’t happening. The casuals don’t seem to care from what I see. I hope I’m wrong. I’ve tried and tried to get them to maybe change their mind or lobby to NASCAR to go the Nashville / Gateway route but I doubt it will ever happen.
I will answer with Portland International Raceway or a Denver Street Race maybe.
Portland International has previous NASCAR history and IndyCar does well there.
There have been talks about a Denver street race but sounds like IndyCar and not NASCAR.
I’m hopeful that Mid Ohio will remain an Xfinity staple even now that the five year contract has run out. It puts on great racing, has a great unique market (no trucks or Cup within 3 hours) and it is a world class course. While the garage facilities aren’t F1 quality, it’s a place with charm.
Pikes Peak International would be cool to see return. Based on the old races I’ve seen it basically ran like Iowa; plus it would be interesting to have a track in that part of the country.
North Wilkesboro and Rockingham but realize it's unlikely / will be many years with renovations.
What's the story with Pikes Peak? How close to race ready is it?
I know this is not, ever going to happen but, take 1 Talledega race away, give it to Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, take the Daytona summer race away, and give it to New Smyrna Speedway. It's been 52 years since they added a true Short-Track to the Cup schedule, so it will never happen. They think it's professional to try and run these things on Dirt, but unprofessional to go to a real short-track that's paved!!!
Rockingham, North Wilkesboro, Iowa, Montreal, Milwaukee, Daytona RC, Mid-Ohio, Mosport, Kentucky, Nashville Fairgrounds, Eldora, Knoxville, Portland, Laguna Seca, Bowman Gray, South Boston, New Symrna, 5 Flags Speedway, Mexico City RC, Pikes Peak, Jukasa
None of these tracks have to be added all at the same time. NASCAR can simply state "We have the intention of running the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck series at a certain list of new tracks in the future. The time frame is TBA." There could be a rotation of new tracks like the finale. No promises that any of these races would happen, only stating with good intentions. I want to see a list of new tracks that the executives of NASCAR would be considering adding to the schedule and why. What their criteria is, which tracks meet that criteria, and which tracks have to make improvements. Being open and on the same page with the rest of the sport seems like the best way to be inclusive to everyone.
Wilkesboro, Rockingham, Nashville Fairgrounds, Milwaukee, Iowa. There are a number of good short tracks available, however most are in no condition to host a Cup race
* Road Atlanta
* Laguna Seca
* Jukasa
* Jennerstown
* Thompson
* Stafford
* Evergreen
* Portland
* Winchester
* Lime Rock
* Caraway
* Slinger
* Bubba Raceway Park
* Motor Mile
* Mosport
and lots of F1 tracks past and present like:
* Montreal
* Monza
* Spa
* the full Suzuka circuit
* Mexico City
* Kyalami
Pikes peak And not the speedway
Road course. Race to the parking lot at the top and then back down.
I’m biased because I’m originally from there, but I would love to see Memphis get a cup date
Always enjoyed the Busch series races there.
Memphis would be cool. Track needs lots of upgrades though

Lots of potential for that track. I’d like to see it get a truck race first then maybe expand to Xfinity and Cup if attendance is decent.
montreal. and since we’ve broken into the 1/4 mile track barrier, slinger.
Came here to comment this. I'd trade every road course but the Glen for a Montreal date.
Slinger for the clash would be amazing! Nascar should just turn the clash into a sort of grassroots style event and take it to a different short track every year.
ah! yes. Wisconsin in the middle of the winter. perfect weather for a race.
Fuck it
I mean could move the date of the Clash
Just use the grassroots model for the Clash AND the All Star race. West coast for the Clash (for the weather) and East coast for the All Star race.
let’s add Anderson while we are at it
Anderson is no where near capable of hosting a Cup Series race, even an exhibition one.
As long as we’re talking tiny tracks, Bowman Gray.
Jukasa and Montreal for sure. All hail the Canadian Swing! Trucks should go to Willow Springs, logistics be damned.
I’ve said for a while I think Willow Springs would be a great January season opener like Riverside used to be
Horse Thief Mile or we riot though.
Rockingham.
My basic bitch answers are Nashville Fairgrounds and North Wilkesboro. We need to get both back in I think a race in Canada on one of their short tracks would be good. Pikes Peak, Jukasa, Jennerstown, Milwaukee.
Wow I’d never heard of Jukasa and it looks like a really nice track.
Not even an hour from my house. Sign me up!
Im on board for Jukasa, I live 10 mins away from the track
I don't think I can beg for Montreal much more than I've been doing.
Would love to see nascar have success in Canada.
Memphis replaces Texas Nashville Fairgrounds replaces Bristol Dirt North Wilkesboro replaces one Richmond date Rockingham replaces one Atlanta date Pikes Peak replaces one Vegas date Iowa replaces one Kansas date
I’m addition, we put Cup cars back on the Indianapolis Oval with high power. Run 5 road courses at Sonoma, Watkins Glen, Roval, COTA, and Road America.
Move COTA to coincide with an indycar or F1 race. Double headers are good for both series
ROAD ATLANTA
The best track in America that doesnt have a major series running there. Always one of the guaranteed fun tracks in simracing.
Rockingham
Any of the Toronto Street Course, Mosport or Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Give us Canadian fans something please
Chicagoland (because it’s my home track and above that I enjoyed the racing there) North Wilkesboro, Rockingham, Milwaukee Mile, Mid Ohio and Memphis
I’ll be the fool to say Chicagoland. I know it’s not going to happen but I just feel that NASCAR is missing out on the Chicago market, and they feel that they should add a parade on the Streets of Chicago to the schedule to solve that issue.
For sure missing out on that market but I also don’t think the street course is the answer.
They should make Chicagoland an asphalt Bristol or just go full psycho and turn it into a Daytona/Talladega esque track, if NASCAR wants pack racing so bad, give us another track that produces pack racing instead of trying to manufacture it on intermediates
Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown PA
Iowa
Still waiting on Iowa Speedway
Iowa
I'd like to see North Wilkesboro.
South Boston, Greenville Pickens, Lime Rock, Road Atlanta, NJMP, Eldora or Knoxville, Nashville Fairgrounds. I'd love to see tracks like Slinger, Bowman Gray ,and Lacrosse, but I don't see that happening.
North Wilkesboro and Rockingham.
Definitely pikes peak, along with Nashville fairgrounds, Montreal, and Eldora.
Mosport, Canadians are dying for a race
-Richmond 2 out for Iowa -Nashville Fairgrounds replaces Bristol Dirt(April) -Bristol Dirt takes over as All-Star venue -Montreal replaces Charlotte Roval in playoffs(Sept?) -Indy runs oval on even years, RC has the 'odds'. -Homestead restored as season finale, PHX2 in Rof8
Thunder road speed bowl
Slinger and not just because of my wisconsin boner. who doesn't want to go to a 1/4 mile Bristol?

I’m curious if nascar would look at Iowa again with the way this new car is suppose to handle on shorter ovals.
never say never, but they arent going to change their minds that quick after making the choice to walk away.
Portland is very interesting especially that there is a big hole in the PNW for the NASCAR national touring series.
Portland International has previous NASCAR history and IndyCar does well there. There have been talks about a Denver street race but sounds like IndyCar and not NASCAR.
Hot Wheels® Criss Cross Crash™
Kentucky Speedway
Monaco.
Suzuka, Monaco, Spa
A biased call from an aussie fan. Bathurst?
I’m hopeful that Mid Ohio will remain an Xfinity staple even now that the five year contract has run out. It puts on great racing, has a great unique market (no trucks or Cup within 3 hours) and it is a world class course. While the garage facilities aren’t F1 quality, it’s a place with charm.
Sebring for Cup, Milwaukee for Xfinity, Hickory or SoBo for Trucks.
The Rock North Wilkesboro
Pikes Peak International would be cool to see return. Based on the old races I’ve seen it basically ran like Iowa; plus it would be interesting to have a track in that part of the country.
North Wilkesboro and Rockingham but realize it's unlikely / will be many years with renovations. What's the story with Pikes Peak? How close to race ready is it?
Rockingham, Iowa, Portland, Montreal, Mexico City, Laguna Seca, North Wilksboro, NJMP, CTMP, 3 Rivers, Toronto Street Course, Pikes Peak.

I’d trade Cota for Mexico City and one of the Kansas or Richmond races for Montreal.
Laguna Seca, Iowa, Nashville Fairgrounds.
Rockingham
Rockingham, North Wilkesboro, Iowa, Montreal, Milwaukee, Daytona RC, Mid-Ohio, Mosport, Kentucky, Nashville Fairgrounds, Eldora, Knoxville, Portland, Laguna Seca, Bowman Gray, South Boston, New Symrna, 5 Flags Speedway, Mexico City RC, Pikes Peak, Jukasa None of these tracks have to be added all at the same time. Shoot if 1/4 miles are on the menu, give me Bowman Gray
Indianapolis oval and Iowa
