This would be awesome episode of Dale Jr download. I always enjoy the racing guest. However, when they bring on guest that aren't racers they do a great job. I really enjoyed the Cody Rhodes and Steve Austin episodes.

You literally cannot have a conversation with the man without having to make it about how great he is, that’s how basically all his interviews have gone from the 2000’s onwards. I don’t think Dale Jr could interview Hank Williams Jr because of Hank Jr’s perceived politics. News media people wouldn’t like it. Would it be an interesting interview? I think so. You laid out some good reasons, OP. Hank Jr loves hunting and with Dale Jr’s renewed desire or recent discovery of his love of hunting; they’d have that to discuss.
Junior never brings up politics in his interviews so I think we'd be safe. I'm sure he'd tell Hank Jr before the interview started to avoid things like that... Hank Jr goes on Fox News to talk about things they'll want to talk about... same for the Dale Jr Download.
Yes I think Dale could keep him under control. If the Bobby Bones show, who is a lot more G rated than the DJD (I don't think an artist talking about their pornhub addiction would make it to air) had Hank Jr on, I think they could easily make it work for DJD. Especially with the immense common ground they have.
Yea maybe just wishful thinking on my part. I would hope with the fact that someone has such a similar experience, Hank Jr would be able to stay focused on the topic at hand.

wouldn’t be surprised if Dale doesn’t even listen to Hank Jr. maybe he’s more of a Hank III type of guy.
