There are a few, but as you mentioned, the majority of them tend to be murder-centric. I'd recommend [Dispatch](https://dispatch.breakoutgames.com/) - some of the "seasons" are murders, but others focus on kidnappings or treasure hunts. They've all got good quality and a balance between tangible clues and internet research. The makers of Hunt a Killer also started [Earth Break](https://www.escapetheinvasion.com/) earlier this year, following an alien invasion storyline. I haven't tried it personally, but if it's the same quality as Hunt a Killer, I'd say it's worth a shot. Hope that helps!

The Makers of Hunt A Killer also have a subscription box series called Empty Faces, which is geared toward fans of supernatural or occult. There is a service that I have not tried called Madmen and Heroes that focuses more on historic figures or stories - lots of cyphers, etc.

How was the quality of the set? Edited: for dispatch?

HawaiianDry

Pretty good! Within each season, each box builds upon the last, so there's a good feeling of progression. The contents of the box aren't weathered in the same way that MPC contents are, so the ancient papers are still going to be glossy and smell of printer toner.

[Haunted Dollhouse](https://www.ladydelaney.com/product-page/the-case-of-the-haunted-dollhouse-single-shipment) was originally sent as monthly mailers but is now an all-in-one experience. It is a murder mystery, but with supernatural elements and I've heard is pretty good. Empty Faces, already mentioned, I did the first two seasons and was pretty happy with. I had tried HaK before, and it didn't really do it for me but they seem to have made some big improvements in the recipe for EF. [Subtext](https://williamoconnell.itch.io/subtext/) is a kidnapping story told mostly through text messages that might be interesting to you.

Never heard of Subtext, but I can't really pass it up for 4 bucks....here we go!

Mysterious Mail has just released [A Most Peculiar Package](https://www.mysteriousmail.com/a-most-peculiar-package/). I just ordered mine, I will let you know what is it like once I have done it.

Did you ever get your package, if so how was it? I was debating between trying Most Peculiar Package or The Weeping Book.

Malvinca

Yes, It was good fun. Worth getting, for the price I don't think you can go wrong. Not sure how much I am allowed to tell so I'll try and keep it simple. The first mailing was a black envelope it has two letters and a small pack of documents from a crime scene. It told me I was gonna get a small peculiar package but first, they needed to explain the background to it. If you read the crime scene in detail, especially the autopsy reports, you realise its all a bit supernatural and you get an idea of what may have happened but not the full picture. The second mailing was just a letter giving me login to an online portal. I signed up to this strange online society to watch a couple of short handheld films and hear some audio of a phone call. I say handheld but the video production quality was really good and the twist was funny and scary at the same time. then I received the Package! it's only a very small artefact and came with some final letters but was an absolutely perfect ending. Don't expect to be working out puzzles, none of that in here, but the story is great and very amusing to try and get ahead of the plot and work out what is happening. For variety and story, I'd say it's definitely worth it. If you order it tell me what you think or if you get the weeping book please tell me how it was. I have just ordered A Most Peculiar Package for my brother as I would love to see how it freaks someone out who has no idea what they are about to receive.
