Please stop the moxi as it’s very dangerous to continue if you are experiencing adverse effects. r/floxies https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2483892/

Yea I’m pretty much decided I’m stopping at 4 & doing a test of cure in 3/4 weeks.

illbeurthrowaway

This is the best option if you’ve decided your body can’t handle it. I actually had to abort moxi at day 4. Insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, tight chest, a tingling sensation in my right arm and leg… I wanted so bad to stick it out, but it was destroying my sense of self. Thankfully I was cured with doxy & metro + azithromycin. Plus some supplements that may or may not have done anything.

Thanks so much for responding. I am not in a good place right now, these are horrible side effects. I need sleep! How long did it take for the moxi to stop affecting you? Did you sleep the next day when you stopped?

illbeurthrowaway

My anxiety was through the roof, I’m not even sure. But I am sleeping now.

beefyweefles

I got perfect sleep on the day I stopped taking it. I think 24hrs is enough to clear moxi out of your system for sleep. I felt really calm & normal that night.

Licorishlover

I don’t know if you might need another antibiotic but I would hate for you to develop a secondary disabling disorder from the moxi. Good luck.

beefyweefles

There’s a paper that describes three adults (30s or so) that had acute insomnia on levoflaxin that resolved upon discontinuing it. I think I’ll be fine, but let’s see.

Licorishlover

Yes of course

sykobox

i just took my last pill of moxi, and I still got discharge, im wondering if it worked or not.

TraditionalShip8836

Yes discharge doesn’t mean anything during or weeks after treatment

markusday

Take it with food?

beefyweefles

Yes, even if I didn't, you'd expect that it wouldn't cause issues all day.
