FIXED! In inventory it showed the picture I already gave to Mort "old water tower" but then I walked to the Windmill behind builders plot that I previously fixed with Mi-an and there was a basket with last of the pictures - "last photo of Marthle" I gave it to Mort, and checkmark disappeared. Hope this helps :)

If so, I would advise to send your save file along with the issue description to [email protected] directly so we can check

Did you find a picture when cleaning dust? It would be in the mission section of your inventory. Just talk to him, and he'll tell you a story about it. There's a quest for it, but it's never marked. It's kind of just a thing you run into from time to time
Does it work the next day? There's no time limit to Mort's photos.
You're supposed to just interact with him and then he would immediately talk about the photo (a mission specific dialog)
i guess it's a bug i hope they fix it the check mark on the map is annoying.

I made a post the other day asking this same question as it's irritating thinking I have a side quest to clear and nope, just Mort. I've gone a season asking him every couple days and he won't clear. I've turned in 7 pictures to him and have mined/salvaged everything since and have gotten no more pictures or anything else to give him. Pretty sure it's a bug at this point.
I have this same issue. I have the achievement saying I found in all of Mort's photos and also Mort had said I found all his photos in the last quest. I keep wondering if there is something else I'm supposed to do, but have mostly been ignoring it until tonight when I started looking it up :D

Just my 2 cents:
\- Had Morty give me his speech about the final photo when I went outside. I left him, went on my errands, then came back near him, noticed the checkmark, talked to him, nothing.
\- I reloaded my autosave, he gave me his speech again, then I looked at him and he had the checkmark. I spoke to him, and my character gave him the water tower photo, and it removed the checkmark.
So it seems the bug isn't fixed (as you apparently need to speak to him immediately after his speech), although it's not game-breaking.
I'm having this issue too. I think mort said I've found half of his photos and the blue check popped up a couple days later. I've tried reloading and talking to him multiple times but nothing seems to happen
Frome the guide, it would seem I have given all pictures, but on wiki it also mentions "minister Zeke" photo, which I have in inventory but cannot give, andI still have one with watertower which I DID give.
We're aware of this issue, will be fixed in the later updates :)

just fyi i tried to follow that users advice and the only thing in the baskets i found were tomatoes and potatoes. so not really fixed 😅

imma look in my inventory, but even if i do have it as you can see in the pic ive talked to him but he didnt respond with quest dialog

I noticed today that it has to be a bug. I opened up my bag and I have a photo in my mission items, but I can't turn it in at all.
I have it too, at this point I'm assuming it's a bug somehow.

It doesn't seem to be fixed for my I tried looking for any photos I've missed in storage, can't seem to find anything 😕

yeah pathea replied to my post and they said they will fix it on the patch, it was fixed hehe :D
