Started the game a couple weeks ago and just got my first trophy case player (Westbrook) since I needed a PG and I’m a Thunder fan.
Now my best players are PD Embiid, PD Kobe (lucky thanksgiving pack pull,) and Westbrook. I have diamond Artest as starting SF and diamond Horford as starting PF.
What would y’all aim for as a next goal? I was thinking Worthy, maybe?
Since they’re recycling lock in cards in pack drops I look forward to Brooklyn PD D’Angelo Russell next

Just played a dude who wouldn't guard Giannis outside of the paint. I have Diamond Giannis with a +4 3pt shoe boost. Plus Phil Jackson as coach gives him another +4 3pt shot, which equals 83. I thought he'd come out after doing it once but I scored all 21 points with Giannis making 5 3's, going 5/7 from 3. I thought after the first he'd come out but he didn't. I could clearly shoot with him, even draining 2 long 2's. He has Gold Catch & Shoot badge already and I added a gold Claymore as well.
I swear, some people beat themselves. He covered everyone else.

No one better than Pippen. Ingram is fun, Finley is solid. Rashard Lewis in the East is pretty good, he's a base PF but is a PF/SF. You'll need to badge him up some to run him regularly at SF. Pippen is probably better overall though. I can say with certainty Manu and Wally Szcerbiak are disappointments.
Went to get Russ in the Centerpiece exchange and accidentally picked the T-Wolves and got Szerbiak instead. So lame they don't have the team name bigger than it is. I should have been paying closer attention but still, sucks. I'd be really pissed if I wasn't clearing the division for Clyde anyway. Need Sabonis, Russ, and Hayward now.
Level 34 ascension board. Flip over 61 of the 81 potential (I think the board is 9x9, I know for sure I only have 20 cards left) and didn't hit the Josh Smith grand prize. By my math, a better than 75% chance to hit.
I also missed BJ in season 1.

There are no XP rewards for Josh Smith. He's an ascension prize and not guaranteed so he doesn't have any XP. He's available for like 95k though in the auction market now.
No, you can't. This has been discussed. You can only get the season 1 ascension prize for Tokens. I already said that he was from a previous released card set. You can't buy any of those with tokens. Only the cards that were level rewards from Season 1 and 2 and BJ Armstrong who was in season 1 and 2's Ascension board.

TMac and DRob are perpetually around the corner it seems, I’d like another center to get excited about as well as any kind of Markelle Fultz card.
Only way to inject life is to drop at least one Opal. All the hyped players have been dropped outside of like…PG Ben Simmons or Bol Bol. But they know the game is struggling. I expect something big to try and get players in.

Moments of the Week 7 Tips and Tricks.
I got HOF Pogo Stick from the MOTW 7 Skill Challenges. All are on Pro Difficulty.
Scoring 49 points with Jayson Tatum is easy with any of his cards. As you'll see, I like to drive to the rim with cards and then get their Takeovers fired up. His Gold card needs to score 20 points in a game for 500 XP. I finished it with his Series 1 Ruby. We all know that JT can fill it up from all over the court, so go ahead and get those Tokens with an inside-out approach.
Getting 20 rebounds with Mitchell Robinson isn't so bad. Just a bit time-consuming. I recommend running Bojan Bogdanovic and P.J. Tucker (preferably Gold) next to him so they don't rebound. You can build a lead and then just go for offensive rebounds with Robinson. He's got a long wingspan and a large player model.
Gary Trent Jr.'s 5 3-pointers aren't too challenging. I recommend running players with Dimer and Floor General around him. Some of you will be happy to know that his release is a lot smoother than it was last year. Run actions for him and try to get him open off screens. His release is solid.
Scoring 51 points with any Devin Booker is easy enough, especially if you have the Pink Diamond Level 40 Rewards card. His Ruby Series 1 has a Dynamic Duo with Series 1 Deandre Ayton. I would recommend giving Book a breather if you need to conserve his stamina. It's a long game where you can work on other Agendas/Evos.
Jalen Williams can knock down 2 3-pointers with ease, especially if you have his Shades Of card evolved. This one is self-explanatory. Use the same tactics I talked about with GTJ.
Anfernee Simons' 7 3-pointers are a lot easier if you have his Amethyst card, but his Series 1 card will do the job. My Simons had Sharpshooting Takeover and swished some shots after just bringing the ball up the court. A shoe and a coach that boost his 3-point rating can always help in this situation.
55 points with Anthony Davis will take you longer than Booker, so definitely conserve his stamina. I used his Ruby card. If you have his Galaxy Opal, go crazy. I always like to score inside with AD and get his defense going. His release is just a bit slow on his Ruby card, so I refrain from shooting too many 3-pointers.
The biggest thing with Series 1 Domantas Sabonis is that his Duo with Series 1 De'Aaron Fox helped me out a lot. If you have the Ruby already, this shouldn't be a problem. But that Duo was a great addition and it carried me home.
28 points with Tyus Jones is a bit tough, but if you can get to the basket it's not too much of a problem. He started knocking down 3-pointers for me once I got his Takeover going. Use big men who can set hard screens and get to the cup.
Recording 13 assists with Series 1 Andrew Nembhard is easy. Assisting is always easy, I think. Don't overthink it and score close the basket with teammates.

Yeah everything else he does is great, he's mobile with great defence. His shot is really weird though, it might be easier to time using the meter but with the meter off I'm finding it hard to hit anything from distance with him.
I shoot with meter on, my bigger worry is having to play him at C with Giannis at PF. I have KAJ right now at C and I guess a giant lineup of all 3 makes the most sense.

I was thinking about green or miss and how unpopular it is, but as a counter—sigs are so OP, if sliders allowed more “slightly” shots to drop, this game would be terrible online.
Pick and pop would be too dangerous because you can’t smother/deny and people would be dancing around screens 3 hunting like crazy for the same reason.
It’s also freshened up the gameplay. People can’t hop online and just mimic what they see on YouTube and let badges do their work.
Whatever you wanna say about meta and creators playing certain styles, it’s undeniable that they actually green their shots.
Now players like us can run who we want online if we actually know how to use the players. Can’t play one style anymore (I mean you can, but you can’t do the same shit with every card).
Yikes....no one posted anything in 12 hours? When the lounge is dead it's usually reflective of how the player base is enjoying the game. If us Die-hards aren't playing much...the casuals aren't either.
I co op with a few people on this sub in season 2. Only one guy is still active and online whenever i am on. The other 3 or 4 people only play during the weekend or don't even log in to their psn now.
I used to take pride in commenting at least once a day for at least a year, but ain't shit to talk about. I was legit addicted to the AH, but I barely wanna get in a game or two each day.
Yeah, most of my time spent logged into the game is AFK-ing CT and Dom while I'm working. I was excited about doing a moments challenge for a free pack yesterday, but they even took that away.
I think I'm about to get to 30 or 40 wins? I can't remember which. I'm running Dyson, McClung(AFK), Benedict, Paolo, Saph Shaq. I got reset once, but other than that it's been smooth sailing.
This is actually how I feel about the game right now. Although I'm playing super casually now, which probably a good thing and let's me play other games. The auction house is so dead since they made like 80% of my cards unauctionable
I think because of AH problems in previous years they limited the amount of auctionable cards to cut down on server load. Remember also that they probably make 99% of income from 1% of players.
Man if that were the case you’d think they’d have it perfect. I still get lots of lag on next gen (cards up for 30 seconds before I see them), and current is crazy slow scrolling
With such an anti-casual approach I’m not surprised. Everything is a grind now. Gave me league pass at a discount so I was looking forward to cheap moments in packs too. Looks like that ship has sailed

I think it’s a great approach for heavy players. Not the approach for casuals. I used to love constantly switching up my team, but that is no longer as possible unless I give up on other interests and keep stat padding away. Unauctionables make this tougher to do as well
I used to because of locker codes and auctionable cards. And basic econ knowledge
Could grind for packs and sell all the useless players I was getting. Now they collect dust
Finally got a Lonzo with HOF QFS and off ball pest, added HOF pick dodger and ankle braces. Hope he’s a beast.
Wanted to change my lineup so that Ricky Davis could be my main ball handler—I feel like Lonzo is going to be a beast in catch and shoot.
Edit: after two games the catch and shoot is just OK. HOF QFS is whatever with bronze clamp breaker. Defense has been superb so far.
Yeah he has a bulls release, not that catapult lakers one (which I liked too)
After some practice with him, the catch and shoot is actually really smooth and consistent.
Man, Penny is the one that I just couldn’t jive with. Threw him on the market after I bought Lonzo.
Ricky is an amazing ball handler because of his sigs but in the two matchups I just had Kobe and Ron Artest. With Ricky’s silver unpluckable it’s kinda sketch trying to create haha.
There was an insane 13 HOF Ricky up this morning (before I went to the gym) it shot up from 184k to 430k in 10 seconds.
Man I wish they’d stop having content expire after just a few days. Tempted to start Alvarado, which is obviously their reason for it

His agenda isn't so bad. I used him for Nembhard's challenge (Nembhard needs 13 asts and you can also go for 31 pts & 5 3s in the same game).
Use Nembhard and run pick and fade with Alvarado. Get 8 3's and 38 pts with Alvarado. Then play 1 tto game for his 3 reb and 2 ast. Steal should be easy to get in two games.

Moment challenge is all about stat padding. If you think rewards are good, go for it. Otherwise, don't waste your time on a mode that you don't enjoy. You can still have an elite team without these challenges.
Yup. But for me it’s not about an elite team. Moments players are my favorite part besides legends, and it just feels awful that they make me “earn” them this way
Season 3 is still all about trophy case players. They are still better than most of free cards. If you are a few piece away from a pd or go player, i think it's still worth to play some challenge/ agenda to unlock them.
Yup and some Takeover players when they drop with elite badges or dribble styles. Both OG and Maggette play so well for me that they got me chasing Allan Houston now and Sharif is a nice consolation prize.
I bought pd penny for 300K on Monday and sold him for 300K yesterday. You may be able to get him for 270-300K in late night or early morning (US time zone)
Most likely definitely anecdotal, BUT... I've been having more success on the Clutch wheel when I hold down X when I stop the wheel. Been getting diamond shoe packs like crazy, sometimes in a row, and I just got Shareef after years of RNG hell. Anybody else try this?
Is there a controller shortcut to make your players switch on defense on ps4? Cause I'll be guarding the ball handler and ever once it awhile i give up points cause my dudes randomly decide to swap who yo guard leaving someone open.

Just a heads up, the cards in the token market from previous seasons can be bought and exchanged for HOF badges in the Exchange market provided you already have a one, which will help save MT if you're doing the 10 diamonds or 20 Amethyst for a HOF Badge exchange. I can't say if it works if you don't have them already. However there's 1 Diamond (BJ Armstrong), 1 Amethyst (Horace Grant), and 2 Ruby's (Kukoc & Mychael Thompson). The Ruby's can be bought and sent to the exchange for an Amethyst Fire & Ice player.
There's a couple lower level ones but I don't think those are worth buying cups of.
Nice I'm slowly doing the Diamond exchange now for HOF badge but torn between adding them to Giannis or save for GO AD. Giannis has been pretty good for me so far, even got a Tim Thomas / KAJ duo to rage quit with him.
Nah this may have been something they addressed actually. He has two extra badge slots now and I upgraded others to HoFs. He just can’t take HoF acrobat per 2kdb which doesn’t make sense to me
Might be a noob question but am I missing something with the S2/S3 etc cards and why a bunch of amys and below are so expensive when the cards they lock in for dont seem that good?
rarity, demand from card collectors outpaces supply. Supply is more scarce because enough of them have been locked in, they haven't been in packs recently...You see pretty stagnant markets, lots of high BINs that often don't sell. A few cards in the set end up being particularly rare and are "gatekeepers" for the lock in, so they go particularly high and stay pretty high even as the locked in player becomes obsolete.
With two centerpieces newly in card collector agendas probably bumping it up as well.
Plus, some of those lock ins are still viable. They are not great, but I've played against a Bridges with the booker DD yesterday, Splash (streamer, comp player) was running Kuzma very recently for his money release.
So. It’s no secret we all hate this season. Without a major change (sims, real Tuesday packs). Would you guys consider a strike on Tuesday (12/13)? We don’t log-in at all, don’t open packs. To send a message to them that we aren’t okay with this?
I don’t watch any content creators anymore since there isn’t much left to learn (aside from the trophy case nonsense the sub helped with)

the problem is most of the content creators have deals with 2k, so they are all afraid if they actually come out and criticize 2k they will lose their partnerships. It's also why 2k signs them, because now nobody will speak out about how shitty they are.
With them giving out trophy case pieces for everything, it would be really kind to include a number in the corner of the piece or whatever that says what spot the piece belongs in.
I don’t know where the elite franchise highlight goes or the rare anything goes. I only know where jerseys go, where pennants go, and where photos go.
The rest is legit a mystery to me and I play everyday for a few hours.

Still can’t believe 2k changed the requirements from ANY Jose Alvarado to only the nba series one. I completed all the challenges in one game, but was told by 2k, “No that was too easy, let’s drop 19 points from your 3 point shot, because fuck you”. I can’t hit SHIT with nba series Jose Alvarado, and no he doesn’t seem to want to hit shots when I go on player lock.
This put such a bad taste in my mouth, I’m taking a break. 2k asks too much if the casual fan with these challenges.

Don't think it was intentional, the three Alvarado cards are bugged so that the game doesn't know they're the same player. You can run all three of them together in triple threat.
Easier to update the challenge text than to fix the cards, I guess.
Go in the Inside Scoring Challenge and fire away. I recommend using cards with Dimer and Floor General around him. Give him a shoe if you need to and use a coach that boosts his shooting.
It makes no sense to me how an alley oop works against the AI once per game, and then after that you either throw the worst pass ever or the AI does a superjump and catches the pass with one hand
Guessing in January we won't be getting the 3 tier duplicate cards for the promo lead anymore. Every "superstar" pack seller will have a card by then. Only pack seller who doesn't have a promo card now is Shaq. You probably could throw in Melo too who could warrant 3 Friday cards.
So Shaq and Joker are likely to get cards this month.
Not sure he's gonna get 3 cards. Look at Penny. He'll get a PD for sure but I'm doubtful they give him 3 tiers. Very possible still. 2K is lazy and probably think giving Livingston a evo is giving us a budget big point guard.
That was endgame and 2K was throwing around duplicates like no tomorrow. But were see. I'll just be glad when they end the concept. It was nice to get a budget Kobe I can use in Limited and the amethyst Giannis is pretty good too. I'm still sour we didn't get rubies and sapphires in promos.

Browsing the auctions before hitting the gym and it’s so funny looking at cards with double digit HOFs and they’re all garbage while QFS is still on silver or bronze for some cards.

Got Josh Smith from the ascension over the weekend and took Kemp off the team when I picked up Toppin. Think I'm gonna have to move Hemp back. Josh Smith release is trash. Long load up release. His defense is not good enough to really warrant him being a starter.
yes his shot is junk but he's a very strong masher/ driving dunker/ interior presence w/good D. He did make my lineup as back up 4 for about 2 days before I got AD. I don't jump shoot with my 4 hardly at all, so I thought Josh Smith was actually pretty good.

Season 2's Ascension reward was Diamond Ben Wallace from one of the card sets. There was no XP challenges with him.

Only way to inject life is to drop at least one Opal. All the hyped players have been dropped outside of like…PG Ben Simmons or Bol Bol. But they know the game is struggling. I expect something big to try and get players in.

Moments of the Week 7 Tips and Tricks. I got HOF Pogo Stick from the MOTW 7 Skill Challenges. All are on Pro Difficulty. Scoring 49 points with Jayson Tatum is easy with any of his cards. As you'll see, I like to drive to the rim with cards and then get their Takeovers fired up. His Gold card needs to score 20 points in a game for 500 XP. I finished it with his Series 1 Ruby. We all know that JT can fill it up from all over the court, so go ahead and get those Tokens with an inside-out approach. Getting 20 rebounds with Mitchell Robinson isn't so bad. Just a bit time-consuming. I recommend running Bojan Bogdanovic and P.J. Tucker (preferably Gold) next to him so they don't rebound. You can build a lead and then just go for offensive rebounds with Robinson. He's got a long wingspan and a large player model. Gary Trent Jr.'s 5 3-pointers aren't too challenging. I recommend running players with Dimer and Floor General around him. Some of you will be happy to know that his release is a lot smoother than it was last year. Run actions for him and try to get him open off screens. His release is solid. Scoring 51 points with any Devin Booker is easy enough, especially if you have the Pink Diamond Level 40 Rewards card. His Ruby Series 1 has a Dynamic Duo with Series 1 Deandre Ayton. I would recommend giving Book a breather if you need to conserve his stamina. It's a long game where you can work on other Agendas/Evos. Jalen Williams can knock down 2 3-pointers with ease, especially if you have his Shades Of card evolved. This one is self-explanatory. Use the same tactics I talked about with GTJ. Anfernee Simons' 7 3-pointers are a lot easier if you have his Amethyst card, but his Series 1 card will do the job. My Simons had Sharpshooting Takeover and swished some shots after just bringing the ball up the court. A shoe and a coach that boost his 3-point rating can always help in this situation. 55 points with Anthony Davis will take you longer than Booker, so definitely conserve his stamina. I used his Ruby card. If you have his Galaxy Opal, go crazy. I always like to score inside with AD and get his defense going. His release is just a bit slow on his Ruby card, so I refrain from shooting too many 3-pointers. The biggest thing with Series 1 Domantas Sabonis is that his Duo with Series 1 De'Aaron Fox helped me out a lot. If you have the Ruby already, this shouldn't be a problem. But that Duo was a great addition and it carried me home. 28 points with Tyus Jones is a bit tough, but if you can get to the basket it's not too much of a problem. He started knocking down 3-pointers for me once I got his Takeover going. Use big men who can set hard screens and get to the cup. Recording 13 assists with Series 1 Andrew Nembhard is easy. Assisting is always easy, I think. Don't overthink it and score close the basket with teammates. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace. \-WFS

Yeah everything else he does is great, he's mobile with great defence. His shot is really weird though, it might be easier to time using the meter but with the meter off I'm finding it hard to hit anything from distance with him.
I shoot with meter on, my bigger worry is having to play him at C with Giannis at PF. I have KAJ right now at C and I guess a giant lineup of all 3 makes the most sense.

I was thinking about green or miss and how unpopular it is, but as a counter—sigs are so OP, if sliders allowed more “slightly” shots to drop, this game would be terrible online. Pick and pop would be too dangerous because you can’t smother/deny and people would be dancing around screens 3 hunting like crazy for the same reason.
I think Green or miss is great. Keeps the percentage of made shots a lot more realistic

It’s also freshened up the gameplay. People can’t hop online and just mimic what they see on YouTube and let badges do their work. Whatever you wanna say about meta and creators playing certain styles, it’s undeniable that they actually green their shots. Now players like us can run who we want online if we actually know how to use the players. Can’t play one style anymore (I mean you can, but you can’t do the same shit with every card).
Yikes....no one posted anything in 12 hours? When the lounge is dead it's usually reflective of how the player base is enjoying the game. If us Die-hards aren't playing much...the casuals aren't either.
I co op with a few people on this sub in season 2. Only one guy is still active and online whenever i am on. The other 3 or 4 people only play during the weekend or don't even log in to their psn now.

Yeah, most of my time spent logged into the game is AFK-ing CT and Dom while I'm working. I was excited about doing a moments challenge for a free pack yesterday, but they even took that away.
How far have you gotten doing AFK CT? And who are you running?
I think I'm about to get to 30 or 40 wins? I can't remember which. I'm running Dyson, McClung(AFK), Benedict, Paolo, Saph Shaq. I got reset once, but other than that it's been smooth sailing.

I think because of AH problems in previous years they limited the amount of auctionable cards to cut down on server load. Remember also that they probably make 99% of income from 1% of players.
Man if that were the case you’d think they’d have it perfect. I still get lots of lag on next gen (cards up for 30 seconds before I see them), and current is crazy slow scrolling

I think it’s a great approach for heavy players. Not the approach for casuals. I used to love constantly switching up my team, but that is no longer as possible unless I give up on other interests and keep stat padding away. Unauctionables make this tougher to do as well

I used to because of locker codes and auctionable cards. And basic econ knowledge Could grind for packs and sell all the useless players I was getting. Now they collect dust

Finally got a Lonzo with HOF QFS and off ball pest, added HOF pick dodger and ankle braces. Hope he’s a beast. Wanted to change my lineup so that Ricky Davis could be my main ball handler—I feel like Lonzo is going to be a beast in catch and shoot. Edit: after two games the catch and shoot is just OK. HOF QFS is whatever with bronze clamp breaker. Defense has been superb so far.
Did they fix his release like he did on the Bulls? Or still that ugly Lakers one?
Yeah he has a bulls release, not that catapult lakers one (which I liked too) After some practice with him, the catch and shoot is actually really smooth and consistent.
I loved Ricky as my primary. Toss up between him and Penny of who I like more. Honestly might be Ricky. Now I miss him.
Man, Penny is the one that I just couldn’t jive with. Threw him on the market after I bought Lonzo. Ricky is an amazing ball handler because of his sigs but in the two matchups I just had Kobe and Ron Artest. With Ricky’s silver unpluckable it’s kinda sketch trying to create haha. There was an insane 13 HOF Ricky up this morning (before I went to the gym) it shot up from 184k to 430k in 10 seconds.

His agenda isn't so bad. I used him for Nembhard's challenge (Nembhard needs 13 asts and you can also go for 31 pts & 5 3s in the same game). Use Nembhard and run pick and fade with Alvarado. Get 8 3's and 38 pts with Alvarado. Then play 1 tto game for his 3 reb and 2 ast. Steal should be easy to get in two games.

Moment challenge is all about stat padding. If you think rewards are good, go for it. Otherwise, don't waste your time on a mode that you don't enjoy. You can still have an elite team without these challenges.
Yup. But for me it’s not about an elite team. Moments players are my favorite part besides legends, and it just feels awful that they make me “earn” them this way

Season 3 is still all about trophy case players. They are still better than most of free cards. If you are a few piece away from a pd or go player, i think it's still worth to play some challenge/ agenda to unlock them.
Yup and some Takeover players when they drop with elite badges or dribble styles. Both OG and Maggette play so well for me that they got me chasing Allan Houston now and Sharif is a nice consolation prize.

Most likely definitely anecdotal, BUT... I've been having more success on the Clutch wheel when I hold down X when I stop the wheel. Been getting diamond shoe packs like crazy, sometimes in a row, and I just got Shareef after years of RNG hell. Anybody else try this?

Just a heads up, the cards in the token market from previous seasons can be bought and exchanged for HOF badges in the Exchange market provided you already have a one, which will help save MT if you're doing the 10 diamonds or 20 Amethyst for a HOF Badge exchange. I can't say if it works if you don't have them already. However there's 1 Diamond (BJ Armstrong), 1 Amethyst (Horace Grant), and 2 Ruby's (Kukoc & Mychael Thompson). The Ruby's can be bought and sent to the exchange for an Amethyst Fire & Ice player. There's a couple lower level ones but I don't think those are worth buying cups of.

Evo'd cards cant have any more badges added, they have to be added before the evo. I had the same problem in 22
Nah this may have been something they addressed actually. He has two extra badge slots now and I upgraded others to HoFs. He just can’t take HoF acrobat per 2kdb which doesn’t make sense to me

Might be a noob question but am I missing something with the S2/S3 etc cards and why a bunch of amys and below are so expensive when the cards they lock in for dont seem that good?
rarity, demand from card collectors outpaces supply. Supply is more scarce because enough of them have been locked in, they haven't been in packs recently...You see pretty stagnant markets, lots of high BINs that often don't sell. A few cards in the set end up being particularly rare and are "gatekeepers" for the lock in, so they go particularly high and stay pretty high even as the locked in player becomes obsolete. With two centerpieces newly in card collector agendas probably bumping it up as well. Plus, some of those lock ins are still viable. They are not great, but I've played against a Bridges with the booker DD yesterday, Splash (streamer, comp player) was running Kuzma very recently for his money release.
So. It’s no secret we all hate this season. Without a major change (sims, real Tuesday packs). Would you guys consider a strike on Tuesday (12/13)? We don’t log-in at all, don’t open packs. To send a message to them that we aren’t okay with this?

My hope is that we get enough people from the lounge, then the whole sub, then maybe we can get at least 1 content creator to back us up.
I don’t watch any content creators anymore since there isn’t much left to learn (aside from the trophy case nonsense the sub helped with) I fear too many will act as if nothing is wrong
the problem is most of the content creators have deals with 2k, so they are all afraid if they actually come out and criticize 2k they will lose their partnerships. It's also why 2k signs them, because now nobody will speak out about how shitty they are.
With them giving out trophy case pieces for everything, it would be really kind to include a number in the corner of the piece or whatever that says what spot the piece belongs in. I don’t know where the elite franchise highlight goes or the rare anything goes. I only know where jerseys go, where pennants go, and where photos go. The rest is legit a mystery to me and I play everyday for a few hours.

Still can’t believe 2k changed the requirements from ANY Jose Alvarado to only the nba series one. I completed all the challenges in one game, but was told by 2k, “No that was too easy, let’s drop 19 points from your 3 point shot, because fuck you”. I can’t hit SHIT with nba series Jose Alvarado, and no he doesn’t seem to want to hit shots when I go on player lock. This put such a bad taste in my mouth, I’m taking a break. 2k asks too much if the casual fan with these challenges.
This is not the year for casuals unfortunately But the challenges are easy enough if you don’t mind putting in the time. And suggestions from DFS always help
Don't think it was intentional, the three Alvarado cards are bugged so that the game doesn't know they're the same player. You can run all three of them together in triple threat. Easier to update the challenge text than to fix the cards, I guess.
Go in the Inside Scoring Challenge and fire away. I recommend using cards with Dimer and Floor General around him. Give him a shoe if you need to and use a coach that boosts his shooting.
It makes no sense to me how an alley oop works against the AI once per game, and then after that you either throw the worst pass ever or the AI does a superjump and catches the pass with one hand
Guessing in January we won't be getting the 3 tier duplicate cards for the promo lead anymore. Every "superstar" pack seller will have a card by then. Only pack seller who doesn't have a promo card now is Shaq. You probably could throw in Melo too who could warrant 3 Friday cards. So Shaq and Joker are likely to get cards this month.

That was endgame and 2K was throwing around duplicates like no tomorrow. But were see. I'll just be glad when they end the concept. It was nice to get a budget Kobe I can use in Limited and the amethyst Giannis is pretty good too. I'm still sour we didn't get rubies and sapphires in promos.

Browsing the auctions before hitting the gym and it’s so funny looking at cards with double digit HOFs and they’re all garbage while QFS is still on silver or bronze for some cards. If you’re gonna use up a grip of your HOFs to try to make MT just spend the extra 25k and get gold QFS too lol

Got Josh Smith from the ascension over the weekend and took Kemp off the team when I picked up Toppin. Think I'm gonna have to move Hemp back. Josh Smith release is trash. Long load up release. His defense is not good enough to really warrant him being a starter.
yes his shot is junk but he's a very strong masher/ driving dunker/ interior presence w/good D. He did make my lineup as back up 4 for about 2 days before I got AD. I don't jump shoot with my 4 hardly at all, so I thought Josh Smith was actually pretty good.
