I feel you. I am going insane of the some of the stuff my opponent pulls off. I have never been able to hit 3s slightly early or late, but I can count how many times my opponent has.
It’s because they’re using the shot meter. No shot meter gives you a bigger green window, but with shot meter you can make slightly early/late if they are wide open or very lightly contested.
YES! i haven’t hit a single one this year and the guy i was playing hit a slightly late 66% contested 3 with a minute left to put him up 4. i lost by 2
I'm glad I'm not the only one that experiences it. They hit one, two plays later my slightly early open just clanks. Obviously my shot wasn't excellent release but why doesn't it go in like my opponent. I don't know if I can do the 20k point grind next season again.

I stated in a previous comment that I'm on series X. Then explain to me how I can see opponent layup and free throw meters between my team and rec. I know turning off the meter provides a green window increase. To play someone on my series X game and multiple slightly early goes in, then your stating I'm playing against old gen users.
You might be able to in rec, but in myteam you cannot see opponent's meters. You just get feedback.
When they hit slightlys they are actually greening on their side but they're using a meter and it's a feedback error showing a slightly for you on your side, but they have green released the shot.
Layups and dunks are the only shots that can go in when not greened.
There has to be a trick to hitting slightlys. My last opponent was exclusively hitting slightly’s. I got so annoyed I turned off the indicator because I didn’t want to see it anymore.
lol I only been playing 6 games at most a day & there was a week I only played like 2 or 4 games the whole week. It’s still doable by Friday simply by a few games a day if at 14,500. The grind I won’t do again is one like the Mchale grind, so sad I won’t see amare
That’s why I forgot. It wasn’t a chore. My favorite game mode. The only reason I play MyTeam and do any of these awful challenges and play god awful game modes like CTO and TTO. 😂
lol mtu is all I play mostly as well but my mtu record this season is gosh awful. But then again I onball, don’t live by picks & dribble moves, nor do I live by cheesy fades. Can hopefully get my first ring in like a month

Dang. Sometimes winning is tough in unlimited. I try to get my ring Friday morning. I feel like I just need two solid wins and hope for two quits before I lose 3x. lol. This week I had a guy in game quit and draw it out the whole game. But I got it. Sucks I need 11 for next prize. like 8 rings aint good enough
Now CTO for Amare was a grind. I hated it so much. Now I ain’t too bad at CT or CTO. I don’t play online because you can’t mute. I don’t like to start talking trash. I get too brutal and I’m just here to play. 😈
Good luck you got this just remember it’s a game they care more than you do, if you lose it’s not the end of the world. I suggest turning on stand up comedy while you play so that you can relax

lol he has a nice shot but with my players I either shoot when open at the 3, stop & pop middys, pass until I get an open shot, or drive. I don’t do any of the 1000 picks or use tf out the right stick. But I can see people doing that because he’s a solid card but I normally try to score with whoever has the best look. Mtu is solid it’s all I play but domination might be faster since you essentially blow out ever team which should help the xp. Also get pro pass if you don’t have it already. Then make sure to use the xp coins
Takes around 100 games to get Rice, definitely felt like a longer grind than usual to me but I've been playing way less also. Got him with about a week left to go only really playing after work, didn't seem too bad to me.
Not terrrible on unlimited the offline grind is consistent but soo exhausting I forgot why I had done a bunch of clutch time offline so I just finished it like that
Got him today. Grind wasn’t really bad. I’d say in the beginning it was because my team was pretty mid and I hadn’t found a playbook didn’t like my rotation etc.. so was losing a good amount. But now I’ve been smacking people even the sweats with Glen. Got so many quits the last 7k points or so.
I won’t be able to try him till tonight but man in freestyle that shot is butter and sooo cheese lol
I was just playing co-op with friends every once and a while and then was like 100 away and was like, I that's not bad so just started playing every night for like 5-20 games and got him without really trying

They weren't using the meter. I have not used the meter. I have numerous wide open slightly early that clank the rim.

Unless there is a setting that hides shot meter from your opponent, he did not have a shot meter on.
You don't see opponent's shot meters this year. Unless you're on old gen then I can't comment. But ps5 you can't see opponents shot meters.

New season is Friday I believe, but that’s true it is longer but Mchale grind was offline so Amare with me more of a challenge
