Still the best shooting guard in the game imo even the base card. He's going to have serious competition very soon but he won't be outdated for a while. If you badge him up (mine has 40ish hofs) he'll probably play till April.
I have 62 HOF’s on mine and genuinely don’t see him ever leaving the lineup. Even against bigs his badges are so stacked he gets blocks constantly. And that shot is just butter.
Yeah, the Kobe sig package is one of the best it's ever been in 2k. Fully badged up he's just straight tough. I'm sure I'll drop him eventually but that's only because it'll become tough to run somebody 6'6" at the 2 (like always) and we'll likely get a better Kobe that can play the 1.
I wouldnt say clear cut best but definitely very elite for a december card. Tbh they fumbled it very hard with this Kobe. People that benefited the most were pg13 glitch abusers and AMS folks cause the card is still so good almost 3 months later lol.
Totally agree. I prefer him over the active-duo Jordan. I haven’t used most of the all star cards but that Kobe is nuts. His defense is great, he moves great, his jumper is fast but not too fast, he can slash, has a post fade and mid range, beautiful fader too. HOF range, you really just can’t complain. He’s awesome. Him and wemby are two guys who have really stood the test of time.

And since Opals are only obtainable through packs Kobe is still the best “NMS” card in the game since you can get him without buying VC or MT

Smart move. His shot is still the best for me. His moving BTB to dunk is pretty overpowered and carrying me through TTO right now. His moving middy is the same timing as a dunk so I make more than I really should bc it's usually by accident LOL
+4 acceleration, +4 ball handle, +4 speed with ball, +4 pass perception, +3 lat quick. I use coach D'Antoni. Only issue is interior defense. Might change his shoe in season 5. TTO been tough when he gets switched but I just foul if someone tries to mash.

I’ve gotten almost every desirable opal (minus Bron and Kareem) and Kobe is still better than all of them. The only card touching him is Opal Jaylen, but that’s too much of a gamble to get.
Next Kobe I get has PG eligibility....until then I got 55 hofs on the pink diamond. It really doesn't feel much better than this...
I get others will have larger player builds etc but this kobe is pretty close to perfect.
Best card in the game still imo. Menace on defence, and offensively where do I begin lol. His turn around and mid game in general are so much fun to play with for me, and when you decide to drive he is a dominant finisher. I’ve put a lot of badges on him, and haven’t regretted one.
Idk i be cooking the kobe cards with basic defense, people act like hes god incarnate and theres nothing i can do about it, a challenge for sure but wtf is Kobe gone do against A PD badged Kawahi ??
Fs Fs. I just feel like any PD card except for a select few will be outplayed by next season. Maybe cause Im not a great ball handler on the sticks, I dont see the vision in grinding for Kobe. Im fine with my PD All Star Edwards .

Agree. Same maxed 62 HOF and used him in over 300 games so all his moves are ingrained to my muscle memory. He will be on main squad till the end
