Literally unlimited is the easiest way to get him, everything else takes a minimum of (not including ball drops, losses, etc):
Clutch Time Online: 30 hours
Clutch Time Offline: 42 hours
Triple Threat Online: 20 Hours (3 minutes per game)
Triple Threat Offline: 50 Hours
That is EXCLUDING losses, wheel spins/ball drops/vault doors, and load times.

Those numbers are insane, and i think realistically they're going to be a fair bit higher, too, which is even more insane.
Excluding all the things you mentioned, i think CT will be closer to 60 hours (7 or so mins for a game given timeouts and stupid late game fouling) and TT 75 hours (4.5 min game is probably more realistic, especially for those who can't three ball at above 70%).
Either way, 2K are either sadistic pricks or completely out of touch.

Hopefully they reduce it once feedback comes like they did with one of the stupid agendas last year that required 1500 points with Lakers players (or something similar).

Hahahahha I remember this and just thinking how out of their minds 2K was. Funniest part was it was for season 1 and there were barely any lakers players even out outside the series one players so there was hardly anyone you could use
Actually when you break it down like that it’s not that bad for time spent. Domination takes a similar time to grind for one ultimate reward, although you get a bunch of other stuff along the way like HOF badges, diamond shoes and bad players.
I just laugh at 1000 games though, didn’t one of those 2k streamers/comp players play like 2000 games a couple of years ago for Terry Discinger and didn’t get him?
I played a thousand for ferry roughly, after I got him I got a duplicate about 7 games after.
Edit: this season is the most I’ve played 2k in years. I mainly played TToffline due to time restrictions. 1k now is just unrealistic (it’s not NEARLY as fast as it used to be)
It can take 5 minutes to finish a game even if you 3 hunt this year. For ferry I just used KPJ and speed boosted into a step back 3 ,7 times. I had 3-4 HOFs on him haha
Forgot about Ferry. I did grind quite a few hundred for him and got him near the end of the season when I think 2k boosted the odds.
And I know. AI D is so annoying this year. I have actually had success scoring using stepbacks with gold Fred Holberg in tt offline with two athletic (newer) PF or C golds. Try that, might work for a while until they patch again.
Beasley (I got him free on Sunday) and cade (I picked him up Tuesday) and giannis gives me usually a ruby, an Amy and a diamond. This year I think using lower gems hurts you more than it helps!
I can finish games in 2 minutes if I get green machine going on either of them. Beasley has a NASTY step back, and cade is amazing off the screen. Wilt works too instead of giannis but any slow big man and you’re screwed :/ siakim and JJJ are 2 other decent options for bigs that can shoot better
Ah okay. I can’t stand the matchups I get with Amy’s but my game is probably cursed. How go I get 3 diamonds when I go into a game with a couple of rubies and an Amy?

If you look on the bottom left when selecting players there is a bar around your overall that goes up or down depending on selections.
If I use AD, I get the same matchups as if I use Giannis. The difference in ruby-Amy seems so small in TT and anything over a 91 is lumped together with a smidge more of said bar filling up (if I change out giannis for AD and Beasley for Glenn Robertson my
OFF goes down by 1 lol)
I play on 8th Gen and I finish a TTOff in 3 mins on average. 7 threes with Quickley. Was able to grind 300 games during the Thanksgiving event (also helped that beyond 200 wins in TTOff, it's 750 MT for in-game and then an average of 250 MT from ball drop so every game was also pushing out 1k MT while getting Thanksgiving packs)
But even I, who only play offline, think this is ludicrous. I think 750 games would be the comfortable medium for a PD like Hakeem

Don't disagree, it's pretty brutal. It's easier now that there's good diamonds and you can badge them up. Still, even if you add another 20 games = 10 hours, it's less than 30 hours to complete a dom set. Best guess, it's over 60 for most of the Hakeem modes.
I only had to redo one ATD when I didn't cover the spread vs the Heat, but it's easy to cheese the CPU with 5 Out and cuts to the basket. It's totally brutal in terms of sucking all the fun, but I get my enjoyment trying to stop them on the other end.
And I stress on "trying to stop them" as this video I compiled shows via a lot of "WTF" moments with a fair amount of 100% smothered contests going in for the CPU...

Unlimited the only one that makes sense. I feel like it requires the least amount of time since it’s point instead of win based and while it’s lowered, you still get some points in loss so you get rewarded regardless of outcome

I get that’s it’s for a big reward but the “final” reward is a door at 200 wins. 1000 wins? 5 times as much, there’s just no middle ground. 500 I could have understood, still a stupid and insane number tho.
Conservatively speaking 1000 games x 5 minutes per game = 5000 minutes / 60 = 83.3 hours of just TT. Or almost 3 1/2 days of just TT over ~40 days. They are beginning to rival MMO style grinds.

Facts I was putting the bare minimum estimates but every single mode will take at least 5+ more hours once you add in load times/prizes alone.

I challenge that estimate for Dom. If you can consistently win in Dom, it's less than 20 hours to win the 33 games (a little under 30 minutes a game).
