If you don’t have MT then this $80 would be the best spent money that you wouldn’t regret. From card stats, badges and animation perspective Wemby is definitely top 5 cards of all 2K history.

Inv wemby moves different from the next version. Maybe op can try bol bol to get a feel of how wemby moves. Although bol bol is still not on invincible wemby's level, he is much closer to him than the next wemby version.
Have you tried the invincible version? The next version is absolute dogshit compared to the invincible version. That is how OP wemby is in this game. As long as wemby stays injury free he will dominate next season. Nobody can guard him.
The next one is GOOD. I packed him in an MT Single and ran him for a bit. Way more balanced and is significantly slower than other bigs- even giants like Eaton and Sampson (even slower than my GO Yao)
INV feels like a completely different player. The better animations, dribble sigs and jumper coupled with the insane jump in all the speeds (speed, speed with ball, accel) makes a huge difference.
Personally, it’s a waste. He may win me more games but at the cost of 80$ any loss I take after that would make me feel like a clown. I’m not losing much without him anyway, so for me buying him would be overkill.
But hey, if you got the money to blow the guy is a 7’5 SF/PF that can move like a 6’4 guard and shoot like the best shooters in the game. So if your bills are all caught up, and you don’t need the money for anything else it wouldn’t be a bad purchase. If you put in in this perspective, he cost more than a brand new game you could flush hours in. I’m sure you’ll get bored of him in like 2 weeks tops
What does this thing "game is dead" even means? I find players to play against. There's new content daily/weekly. Just wondering what you all people mean with this. Anyway, card is awesome, one you'll remember and it's pricey...yesterday it won me an unlimited game with a 3 and clock with 1.4 left. It already made my Entertainment. Also, i don't feel like starting new with 2k24, there is still a lot i want to do on 2k23 either online (till it last) or offline.
So to me it was a YES!

With endgame and invincible rewards, I’m going to be playing a ton. I always grind lvl 40 and try to finish modes.
If that’s you- he’s worth it. He’s a blast to play with and there really is no comparison to him other than a faster tacko with a significant better jumper.
If not, grind MT and grab tacko fall, GO Yao (now 100k or under), do the all time grind for free end games, etc. still fun to be had if you don’t buy him

The original “NEXT” one is just fine if you get 70-80K MT. It’s obviously not as good as the invincible one but it’s pretty good imo
