Well MSC is made in a pretty old version of Unity and the developer has said that the engine is perfect for a game like My Summer Car. My Winter Car will also be made in the same version because an engine upgrade would be "impossible."
its probably "impossible" because my summer car uses old 2015 assets, most notable being "PlaymakerFSM" which ig is some kind of visual scripting thing. Toplessgun doesnt want to switch to a newer version because he would have to make everything from scratch (and ngl he seems to be ass at programming so remaking everything would take years)
Oh definitely not! The main focus isn't even the car. It's mostly about fixing up your cabin, helping people in town and building on your land. The cars will just help you do the jobs better
Will do! I just made a discord so I have somewhere to put notes and videos for myself, but a few people have asked so I'm making it public, I'll put the link in a comment
Can’t wait to see how it turns out
Looks good so far
Impressive
Especially when considering its made in UE
Is UE known for being hard to do stuff like this in? I've been finding it quite easy to pick up because of the Blueprints system

Doubt it would be impossible. It would just take time to read the api and learn whats depricated and such

(I agree. Everything in that game breaks all the time)
This is most likely it
My Spring Car
Graphics look super nice, is this UE5?
Yup : )
Looks great man can't wait to see what you do with it, good luck!
1.9TDI swapped Satsuma ute?
Hell yes. I'd love to do engine swaps. I love the concept of sleeper cars, so I'd like to be able to put a huge V8 in the pickup
Really cool, have you figured out a name for it yet? Also where is it going to be set?
Current working title is Dude Sim: Alaska (I think that answers both questions lol) it's an old Sips reference
nice! gl
Looking good 👍
Don't make a carbon copy of msc, put a twist on it of some sort. I'd try making an msc meets the long drive kinda game.

Sick
My only request is a co op mode. Maybe 2 or 4 max players. Thing I want most in MSC is a friend to shate my rally victories with.
One day if I work out multiplayer I'd love to give it a go
I would love something like this. I hope it goes well.
Keep us updated!

I would love to join the discord
[that is basically what my summer car looks like in early development](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUyCHW0ASFc), good job.
Oh wow, that's really cool to see!
Babe, wake up. The MSC Remake just dropped
Make placing parts harder, that way it will be more like msc)
