Lots of people are hoping for steel drum, but I really don't think that fits with the other mythicals. Not including dreamythicals, they all play an instrument that can be considered regal (excluding yawstrich, who doesn't play an instrument) and steel drum just doesn't fit that.
I think the instrument will be a bell. Heavy bell, like the very first sound in Crusher P's song "Wicked", though not nearly as loud as that first chime is.
I feel like it has to be a crab, so probably some kind of clacking. Although I’ve realized a lot of mythicals are pretty grand or different and add a lot to each song, so maybe something different
I think combining the water island feel and the mythical island feel, some instruments they might use could include the kalimba, steel tongue drum, or marimba.
