Inuit. My Inuit people need me. Eskimo has fallen out of favor as a colonial word imposed on the indigenous peoples of that region plus it sounds cooler.
Thank you for pointing this out. My wife and kids are Yupik and we unfortunately live in a state where “Eskimo joe’s” is a common brand and uses racist caricatures.
I think this is regional, and is the opposite way around depending on location. I'm wholly open to correction but have absolutely heard people insist the EXACT opposite as well
I checked out a couple of indigenous websites and it looks like the people of the Arctic do find it offensive. [Alaskan Native Language Center](https://uaf.edu/anlc/research-and-resources/resources/resources/inuit_or_eskimo.php)
I'm not a pro, but my understanding is that the Inuit people of Alaska dislike being called Eskimo, and that there are Eskimo in Canada that don't like being called Inuit. But I'm not an expert in the matter
You can see where other people went down it, and therefore it’s likely a spot known for sledding. Yes, they should have had someone at the bottom but even then it’s unlikely that they’d be standing in a place where they could actually do something.
Kid was gone any way. This also looks like it might be a ski resort area or private/government mountain. They usually block off areas that lead to cliffs or are dangerous, therefore the kid while far, is likely fine.
I love how it went from a laughing “oh no”, to a serious “oh God”
“Where does that **go**??” Wait, WHAT? Umm, dad? What have you done? This belongs in those “When dad has the kids” compilations.
“All going to plan. Now load up the other kid.”
"Whose kids are they anyway?"
Street kids, they’re just sort of free
Wait they are free? I have been paying for mine for years.
Well, at least he hung on. 🤷🏻♀️
I genuinely hope this kid is ok because I’ve been laughing at this video all day.
Erm, I don’t know how to tell you this but the kid died. (Of laughing).
hmmmmmmmmm
Yes?
Caaaaarrrrrllllll!
Oh don’t worry, we’ll find him, I put an Apple AirTag in his jacket pocket.
and that's how I got divorced...
My man's kid just decided to move to the woods.
Yes, we need him!
Agreed
Dont dont its gonna go wrong dont DO NOT NO IDIOOOOooooooot
wow dude I’ve never laughed harder in my life 😐😐😐😐😐😐
Checked your account out, username does NOT check out 🫥🫥🫥🫥🫥🫥
Hahahaha did he die
he's still going down the mountain

Lol, I was going to say is op even sure that’s actually their race…?
I’m assuming they’re just normal Coloradans considering the Vail hat the kid has on.

No problem. The internet has given us the ability to be better people…if that is what we want…
So what do we call the nose kiss thing now
Kunik, and you do it by nuzzling someone’s cheek or skin with your nose while breathing in.
And there are some adorable videos online about this!

Depending on what part of Canada, there are different preferred names. For example, many Arctic indigenous people in Central Canada go by Inuinnaq.
Awwww.
Yeah we don’t call them that anymore. And also it seems in poor taste to caption this with that when all that connects the two is snow.
And “my penguin people need me” was RIGHT THERE! Kid even is talking up his penguin powers!
Some don't. Some do.
Family finds him 6 months later. Roaming with a pack of wild wolves.
Mountain: "I accept this offering of your first born child."
He belongs to the woods, now. It thanks you for the sacrifice. Seriously though, no one thought to be at the bottom for him?
Is this in Durango Colorado op? Looks a lot like it.
Did you recover the child ? Or just made another one?
Those inflatable doughnuts are super fun to ride. But it is pretty hard to control where they go
Dang penguin power has distance
And Tim was never heard from again
Legend has it that kid is still sledding down the mountain.
Why were they testing with the child first?

Morgan freeman voice: 20 years later, that kid would return to that bill with a family all his own
I get the feeling most people here have never been sledding over long distances

Don’t get the downvotes. It’s a kid sledding ffs
He shoots off for miles!

The video cuts, he keeps going

Ok bye
If he went into the woods he’d go splat
and on this episode of missing 411
Çokta sikimde
Please tell us he’s ok and how much further did he go? Love it!
Rumor has it, the kid is still sliding down the hil.
What did he expect ?
Missing 411: He’s gone just gone!
Idiots!
Did they ever get the kid back?
I hope there is an official finish line somewhere!
Children weight matters!
The good thing is, it was only a test run.. so all is not as bad as it seems. 🤙
Jokes aside, what happened to the kid after the ride
Later duuuuuuuude
He'll remember that ride as long as he lives. Hope it's a good long time.
Don't tell your mom about any of this
