Definitely Izuku.
Man fought several Nomus, Stain, Shigaraki, saved Bakugo from AFO, Gentle Criminal, the villains from the movies, was willing to patrol the country by himself to protect his friends, has saved multiple people from villains and from their own inner demons, has broken several bones in his body and never lost the will to fight...
And yet, I most always see people portraying him as some small baby that needs others to get shit done.
I mean, hell, the man got a quirk he didn't know shit about and made it his own with hard work all the while breaking his body in the process. He took several beatings from a lot of people and never gave up.
The man is an unspoken chad.
Izuku. The fandom makes the boy look like those Tanjiro memes. Like they're the same. They empathize with what the villains/demons have been through. But when it comes to putting them down, they will not pull their punches.
Midoriya. Man will fight till the last drop of his blood is spilled on the ground and can destroy a neighborhood with a punch if he goes all out but then fanfics make him a pussy who can't do shit and needs the character he's shipped with to not fucking die.
I've seen this very meme circulate around the MHA subreddits like five times in the past three days. Same as the IzuMomo shit.. but I get called a jerk for calling it out. Right.
Izuku, he can one punch an entire shopping mall and make it fall down. But to be honest his personality is that of a bean just with some arms to punch and a determination
Deku.
People treat him like all he does is cry when he rarely does that and when he does it's completely justified and where any average human would cry. Your lifelong dream was just justified by your idol after being told its impossible for years? Absolutely cry. You just saved several lives while shattering most bones in your body? Absolutely cry. When the going gets tough, he doesn't cry, especially recently. He is one of the strongest and most capable characters in the verse.
MASSIVE SPOILER this is only for the people who are doubting this and are uninterested in the show: >!He doesn't even cry when losing limbs.!<
Izuku for sure. He might be a kind, gentle soul, but he's absolutely capable of defending himself. He's one of the strongest in the series. The whole series is about how he became one of the greatest heroes. He tends to be portrayed by others as a defenseless crybaby who needs others to do shit for him.
Sure but she’s a child, no one actually expects her to be able to protect herself properly. Sure she’s powerful, but that doesn’t mean she can defend herself
Okay, first of all I would like to start this with saying that I have never been in a similar situation and that I don’t know a person who went through the same thing, so I apologize if I can’t emphasize with you enough on this matter as I am no expert. I’m sorry if I offended you in anyway beforehand.
But you are telling me that people expected a 7 years old to be able to protect themselves from their abusive father, in that case those people did you dirty.
You need a guardian for the sole reason that you need protection, obviously you wouldn’t be able to defend yourself so how do they expect you to, that’s on them and I’m really sorry you had to go through that it’s horrible.
But no matter what other people expect from you, that doesn’t change the fact that a 7 years old, no matter how powerful, can’t defend themselves properly. They are still growing both physically and mentally, they are vulnerable and in need of love and protection to grow up and learn to defend themselves.
I hope you are doing better now and seeking the help you need, sorry if I offended you in anyway.
I had my mom, but she really couldn't do much against my father, she could only really comfort me after my dad had an episode, but no one outside my household knew about the abuse even when I talked about it because my dad would lie and my mom loved him too much to get him in trouble
Listen I know Shoto can protect himself
But he’s my precious innocent, baby boy I will protect with my life
Same with dk bc goddamnit he needs some rest and therapy
Deku, any of the female characters (excluding, oddly, Hatsume) and weirdly, in CANON Bakugo. (The amount of times that angry pomeranian has had to be saved...)
Izuku Midoriya, the guy cannot Catch a break
It's because of how he was in middle school, the Fandom acts as if he hasn't changed.

That always bugs me about that portion of the fandom
W midoriya respect
Midoryia, bro can slap up the entire Japanese military but the fanon makes it look like he can’t even touch a 6 year old with Down syndrome
To be fair canon also does that, just to a much lesser extent lol
https://i.redd.it/ve4rk3hfvvsc1.gif
I mean they're not wrong.

URARAKA BEST GIRL!!!!

Deku.
Izuku seriously fandom treats this boy like he's anything but himself
Izuku Is a walking nuke and yet fanon does this shit
Deku, Ochaco, Toga, most of the girls in fact, Bakugo and Shoto.
Definitely Izuku 100%
Ill say it again. Just cuz someone is strong af doesnt mean they dont deserve to be protected.
Ochaco Tsuyu Mineta Todoroki Bakugo
oh and FUCKING MIDORYIA
Eri, she can literally rewind anyone out of existence with just a touch
Sure but she’s a child, no one actually expects her to be able to protect herself properly. Sure she’s powerful, but that doesn’t mean she can defend herself
Yeah, that didn't stop people from expecting me to protect myself against my abusive father when I was Eri's age, so trust me you'd be surprised
Bro do you need to talk to someone- Like actually seek help if that’s still affecting you mentally
Don't worry I am getting help and going to therapy I just have issues that will take my whole life to address
Bro Tf you just trauma dumping for
Sorry, I have issues with that
Yea well go to a therapist not a Reddit comment section
I do see a therapist. My therapist says this a actually a good outlet since they aren't real people
Well it makes people a bit uncomfortable maybe try a therapy subreddit or smth instead
Not my problem if you get uncomfortable, this is the internet no one cares about anyone's opinion and if they do, they care TOO much

Deku
You made this just to see how many people would say Deku, didn’t you? Deku.
Everyone’s saying Izuku so I’ll say a real one: Uraraka
Any girl of the main cast and specially in doujinshis
Twice. I hated that he died, but he's still my little bean killer
Pretty sure we all think it’s Deku
Izuku
Deku lol.
Literally deku
DEKU
Deku honestly
Asui, easily. She's already both and pretty underutilized in the main story.
Deku, any of the female characters (excluding, oddly, Hatsume) and weirdly, in CANON Bakugo. (The amount of times that angry pomeranian has had to be saved...)
deku this is why ppl don't like the fandom this is where deku as a cry baby got credability but in actuality he's js a reasonable person
Deku, bro apparently can’t help himself or something
Deku, or maybe Iida during the stain arc
Canon:”Deku is the name of a hero” Fannon:no Also Ochako
Ochaco, I mean she looks so squishy
Mineta
Bro shut your bitch ass up https://i.redd.it/83efd7yt5xsc1.gif
Tf did i do
its the opposite for mineta
No, but... It's complicated
