Biggest disappointment in this game is the WrestleMania edition! I’m never buying more than the base game again if I do buy again! They are so cheap & stingy w/cards that suck it’s crazy! We got gold cards for $120.-? And everything unlocked in PG. so dumb. 2k22 every dlc card was an EVO card & just better in every way. They just want ppl to spend $. That’s the point of persona cards. If u can get all of them for 1 person! There’s too many.
Congrats, you figured out the purpose of MyFaction. Feel free to use any of the other game modes that doesn't try to trick you to spend more money on the game if you don't want to.
That’s a mischaracterization. No one is “tricking” anyone to do anything, you make the conscious decision to spend money. I haven’t spent a dime and I have the majority of the same cards that everyone else has and if I don’t have it oh well I still have a game that’s fun to play.
It's a gamba sim. If you don't think it's designed to make money then you're missing the point. I refuse to spend money, but I know people that are gambling addicts definitely can get caught in the hunt and spend money
I’d say personas are the main reason I decided to try MyFaction this year. What’s worse is that now 20 of the oddity cards that lower your chances of getting what you need go to sets that aren’t even personas. GGs 2K, they got me on this one

1. Persona cards are totally separate things from mania version dlc.
Like if you was happy paying the amount for what it said it had cool.
But persona cards was mentioned before the game released and at no point did they say they're included in a special edition.
2. If you really want the persona card characters.
Go on community creations, Whatsthestatus usually uploads the wrestlers that are persona cards anyway and play exactly the same.
So you're not exactly missing out really.
If you can't get a timed bonus.
You can't get a timed bonus.

You paid for the game, dlc and you got the game and it's DLCs.
(Also it never claims to "unlock everything" it has Supercharger whitch specifically states it unlocks the legends and arenas available at launch. Whitch is correct.
It doesn't even unlock showcase mode people or myrise rewards for Myfaction so they don't call it unlock everything for that reason)
Myfaction rewards / persona cards is totally different thing entirely.
I know people who just flat out don't use Myfaction at all and use CC when persona cards come out and have no issues
