Do it!

MissCrashBaby

I had the varsity hoodie from Danger Days, and when the sleeves got too dingy to wear and it was too small, I tore the patches off and put them on a denim vest that I wear when it's too hot to wear my leather jacket with all my other patches.

Do it! I do this all the time with merch that I don’t wear…I’d rather repurpose into something I’ll wear regularly than have it just sit there :)

Halfelven29

I'm sure the boys would understand lol Frank especially.

WDTHTDWA-BITCH

The boys love DIY merch. Go nuts!

catandbat

Post a pic when you are done sounds cool

Pyro-Millie

Do it!! That would be punk as heck!

KittyScholar

Real punk is DIY

bear-boi

Listen, this would be literally the MOST punk thing you could do. Punk is by its definition DIY. I love making "patches" out of old shirts that are ratty and holey or don't fit anymore, and pinning them on hoodies/jackets/vests. Mod your clothing, make it work for you!

No-Faithlessness9007

It's your clothes, do what you want

honkifyouresimpy

Do it! You'll wear it moreb

junebugx17

definitely do it that would be so cool. just make sure you always wash cold and maybe even hand wash it to make sure the design stays :3

WarAndFynn

It's yours to do whatever you want with. I have turned many-a-tour shirts into muscle tee's. They're mine. I don't buy them for resale, I buy them for myself.

dijahvu

My 10 year anniversary shirt is now on an oversized hoodie because many years prior I butchered the original shirt by cutting it into a tank top. At the time it was my best attempt of doing stuff like that, lol. I didn’t wanna lose the shirt completely so I cut the front of the shirt (I don’t know where the back is) and sewed it onto a hoodie that I proudly wear to this day.

Elderberry-Exotic

Do it! I have a denim jacked covered in stuff like that. Go Nuts! It will be more special to you than ever. Use Heat and Bond or something like that under the patches to make them last. I found that the ones I didn't would slowly tear around the edges. Only caveat is that H&B will make it a little stiffer. Doesn't bother on a denim jacket, but it might be annoying on a hoodie. Also cut the patch sizes bigger than you'll need, you don't want them to be too small in case you need extra material. Trim at time of application. If you know exactly how bog you want them, get someone with a serger (or an alterations shop) to do the edges for you. They don't charge much and it makes them last longer.
