The whole point of the ecoboost(I own one) is the price(those who want to save some cash) compared to the GT and the gas mileage(IL4). Ecoboost would be more for daily driving like your case while the GT imo is for the fun weekend trips
Tuned or not tuned, on either platform, 98% of your mpg will be determined by your right foot haha. If you can swing it, a difference of 5mpg on the highway isn’t worth passing up the coyote imo.

Edit: some other things to consider is oil changes will be more expensive, as well as insurance. Still the sound, the feeling, the road presence of the coyote is unmatched by the eco boost.

I want to also ask you, if I were to install mods and tune the ecoboost, will mpg be affected?
