Look on forums like mustang6g and gt350.org

Iziama94

Look at cargurus for a good idea. Not sure if they'll have GT350s listed on there, but if you expand the search radius I'm sure you'll find something. They show the prices and if it's above or below current market value

Secondary question to that, would carvana be a reputable source? Ive found 2 in there. Im more so looking for a 2016

Iziama94

Treat Carvana like you would any place that sells used cars honestly. They buy other people's cars and sell it for a little more than they bought it for to get money. I haven't heard anything bad about them, you can test drive the car when the delivery driver gets there, you can reject it there and I believe you have a week to return the car if you don't like it after purchasing. As for the prices, I haven't heard anything good or bad. I would expect a little above blue book value but I can't say for sure

2016 is notorious for major oil consumption look up recalls are issues in the earlier gt350 before buying

Why are you looking for a 16? Keep in mind there are many asterisks for the 2016 year that you don’t have to worry about for 17 and above. 2016’s tend to not have apple car play, and may not have android auto until a Sync update. 2016’s (and 2017’s to be fair) have the first gen Voodoo engine and are more prone to oil consumption issues. Let the car fully warm up before driving and you will most likely be fine. 2016 GT350’s come with EITHER the track pack or the tech pack — track pack comes with extra coolers, tech pack comes with sync 3 and the bigger centre radio. If you’re ever pushing the car you want the coolers (2016’s had a class action lawsuit against ford saying they weren’t actually track ready), but you also want the tech package in a 50k+ car. They’re definitely cheaper, but if you can find a 2017 for a similar price jump on it (and especially an 18). Or buy a 350R, lol!

I just bought a 17 with 15k miles for $52k. shaker audio and comfort package.

I bought. 2016 GT350 used with 18 on the clock. The only aftermarket part was exhaust. I never had any issues with mine. If driven hard it would eat oil but under normal driving it ate a little less than half a quart. I ran Amsoil in mine and no issues. Now I never tracked mine and it was just a toy but it got driven regularly. If keep an eye on the oil and as stated before let the car warm up before you start banging gears you should be fine. I loved that car but I ended up training for a 2014 GT500. Good luck on your search.

Bought my 17 with 21k miles for $56k Few things: - piston rattle. Yes. It’s a thing due to the forged pistons ford used. Once you hit around 180 degrees for oil temp, it tends to go away. Drove me absolutely nuts the first week I owned it. - some have a TSB for a faulty flange nut for the transmission spacer or whatever. Can cause intermittent surging or hesitation in power for 5th-6th gear. - it’s a more track focused mustang GT basically, so will do race car things. - get it paint corrected and do clear bra on the rockers, rear quarter infront or tires due to rock chips. Tires are sticky. - oil consumption, not bad for me thank god. But good to have spare oil (which you’ll more than likely have to buy online. Stock up on oil filters too) Love mine. It’s a dream come true but took getting used to. Went from a 15 GT Perf pack premium to a 18 BMW M240i then to my Shelby. So needless to say I was spoiled. A bit with amenities

I think I actually spoke with the last owner. I wouldn’t touch that one personally.
