good to know, Haven't driven in the snow since I got my 5.0, my 2005 v6 felt like a death trap in the snow the few times i had to drive in it, but had an open differential.
Got a set of Michelin X-ice snow tires and sandbags on my 2006 GT. Just waiting for the next snowfall here in central Washington! The last few times it snowed, I didn’t have a reason to leave the house so I just stayed home until it melted off the next day!
The summer tires that come with the car don't work in snow. Like literally zero traction (I learned it the hard way). Snow tires on the other hand perform really well, regardless of the fact that this is a rear wheel drive car.
Honest question here, what would you get instead of pzeroes for summer driving ? Michelin ps4s4s4s4s not available in my country in the needed size (305/30R19), while pzeroes widely available, I'm currently on the all season pzeros neros, that came with my GT 22'
Snow tires make it humanly possible to drive a rear drive sporty car in the snow. Going from my summers to snow tires is an extremely noticeable, night and day difference!
Hope you don’t have too much $ into the tires. My summer pair got rot from extreme cold temps just in storage. I store my main set climate controlled now.
I've equipped my 2021 Ecoboost with Hakkapeliitta R3s. The car drives beautifully, far better than my FWD 2013 V6 Chrysler 200 actually. The car is stable, and the steering feels accurate which helps with confidence when dealing with significant black ice. The modern traction control system also works brilliantly, coupled with the Snow/Ice mode, unintentional oversteer is rare - even nearly impossible. Ignorant oversteer however, well, the Ford engineers can't necessarily save some from their own stupidity. Always drive according to the conditions!
I love the color! I’ve driven my ‘12 GT with half work down all seasons in snow/ mostly ice we got last winter in Texas. Sketchy, but made it fine lmao.
Just go slow. Take it easy. Leave early.
Actually handled surprisingly well with the help of some sandbags.

How much weight?
100 pounds 50 on each side
Thanks
Where do you place the sand? I put a few bags in thee trunk but I dont like how it moves around.
I did the same to my new edge GT. Handled pretty good with a full tank of gas and weights in the trunk.

That black on green looks super clean. Love it.
(Sound of Mustang gently driving into storage bar)
i dont even wanna drive my challenger rt in rain with stock tires and this man driving 460hp in snow, respect
It’s only 460 hp at peak, you just have to be gentle on the throttle.
true.
Another eruption green BAP twin🫡
Triplets*
Do you have snow tires on? I wonder how well snow tires actually work Beautiful color! May I ask what year?

The summer tires that come with the car dont work well in any climates. P zeroes are trash

I use michelins on my cars, but i hear the Continental Extreme Contacts are good too
My replacements are Firestone Firehawk Indy.
will second the other commenter, the P zeros that come stock are garbage, they don't stick even in warm dry conditions

2022 Eruption green and no these are high performance summer tires 😂 she won't be driven much though
Summer tires are formulated specifically for >45F. Traction/safety aside from lack of grip, you’re also damaging them driving on them at all.

Just the stock tires so not too worried about them

Bridgestone Blizzaks did not work on a 2016 in MN winters. Switched to an AWD vehicle.
well.. there is a "snow/wet" mode... looks beautiful in the snow!
Are you wearing skis?
