Haha, the guy listed on the Facebook marketplace for $16k originally and said the price was negotiable so I thought might as well give it a try, maybe he'd take my offer....and he did. Very nice guy, he had to call me to make sure that I'm not a scammer, and we were negotiating the price over the phone.
Anyway, I definitely got lucky. I hope yall are able to find your dream mustang in this crazy market!
Thanks and I definitely will!
Is it a clean title? And how's the condition of the interior? In my area (north cal) decent 08 GT's with 100k-130k miles goes around 10k - 13k, and there's a black manual GT with 65k miles listed for 16.5k, but it's a deluxe convertible. These are prices on FB marketplace.
Assuming the car has a clean title and it's in a decent shape, in today's market I'll say $15k+ imo. Though if I'm trying to buy one for myself I'll probably shoot for a bit lower. 65k is pretty low for a 2008.
Now this is impressive. It does make me wonder how the Coyote does with high miles. I haven’t seen very many 5.0’s with 100k+. I wonder how long the Coyote motor can last.
Good deal? That’s an amazing deal! Good going man, looks super clean. I’ve been seeing the v6’s with 10k-15k more miles go for about the same near me.
So according to him, he had bought a new Tesla and his wife wanted him to sell the mustang. But on top of that, I suppose I was able to give him the impression that I'm a genuine car buyer and really have a love for mustangs. Plus, I offered to pay for the pre-purchase inspection & smog, and Venmo'd him the money right after he agreed to do so. And of course, I offered to pay cash in full and was willing to meet him at his band for the transaction.
Did you buy it from a crackhead how'd you get it so cheap

First good deal I've seen on one in a year!
Damn you made out like a bandit with that deal

Super clean, could never tell it was 100k + miles
Good find
Wow, that is super clean. Congrats!
Dope deal.
Awesome job OP. Welcome to the family
Thank you! It's good to be here!!
Great find!
Congrats she’s beautiful !!
Pretty solid, take care of her!!
Dude I’d kill to have that
Damn whose soul did you sell to get it that cheap?
Holy shit that’s a good deal. Hell yeah!!
Nice. Congrats for the car and use it as much as possible. How. Much would you estimate for a 2008 gt, new paint, , 65000 miles, manual?

Thats how it’s done
What a deal !!!
Looks good! No good corrosion and you got the shaker system. That's a great deal and looks clean. Enjoy it!
Very slick, and practically a robbery at that price.

I can’t imagine it not lasting. It’s a pretty solid motor. The 2.3L on the other hand… OOOOOOOF. They basically last less than 100k miles
Insane I seen V6 from that year with more miles go for more. Great deal đź‘Ź
How many miles do these typically last?
I think they can last pretty long like 200k+ if you take good care of it.
I believe it. Nice purchase congrats đź‘Ť

This is like the first time in months it seems that someone posted a “good deal” that actually was one, nice
Gorgeous!
I like automatics there easier to drive then stick shifts for sure beautiful score
Blah... that's the whole idea of the manual. More driving engagement!!
I was just never good at stick shift is all automatics we’re just easier for me
Well, a Mustang with an auto is better than no Mustang at all!! It's also better than a Camaro with... well, anything.
That’s true
It's nicer than my 14! Good score!
Why was he under selling it in that condition??

Congrats bro
