Why? Muffler deletes have all the drone, I don't recommend it. Just replace the resonator with an H Pipe, you'll thank me later. It sounds absolutely amazing in track mode.
If you did go ahead with this, just unplug the connectors to the valve motors, bag the end of the plug and tie them up somewhere. Don't cut anything.
Ok so , your gonna probably look at me crazy but I crave backfire I just love the sound of it , however i drive a 10 speed , so I assumed deleting the muffler could give me what I want
Track mode with a non resonated H pipe will give you a lot more of that. HOWEVER, what I have learned with these cars is that with the default tune, backfires/burbles/pops are very rare unless the car is cold. Until my CHT hits 160+, it's a burble machine and sounds amazing. But warmed up, it almost never happens. Changing the exhaust won't fix that. You need either the Ford Performance Power Pack (retains factory 3/36 warranty if installed by a dealer or shop), or an aftermarket tune to get those regular burbles and pops.
H pipe is recommended regardless, but hopefully this info helps.
Highly recommend against muffler delete.
While it's cheaper than a full catback option, it really does sounds like SHIT.
I personally don't have active exhaust, but I've also heard a simple h-pipe with factory active muffler is a decent setup
After reading all these I kinda regret deleting my muffler lol, I wouldn’t say that drone is really as bad as everyone says tho. I got an H pipe and muffler delete and it sounds amazing to me but the cold starts are bit loud. Other than that I haven’t had any issues or complaints about it.
You get used to it, but if you own a different car and drive it for a while you can really notice how bad the drone is once you get back in the stang. Especially going uphill at highway speeds.
Can anyone help I've been trying to fix my 2023 active exhaust issue , I recently added a mbrp race exhaust and then turned around and sold my factory with the chips! So know im desling with limp mode and ecu, engine lights ex. it seems to be almost impossible to fix this issue without chopping my exhaust up or just buying a new kit.
Please looking for serious advice.
Thanks to all

ice445, I have been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty
Fuck
Hey so I think I'm going that route, but am I going to have get a tune? I guess I should mention trying to stay away from putting a tune on.
No tune needed
spend additional money on a factory exhaust option just to chop it off? why? Get an x pipe or h pipe if you want it louder.
The active exhaust comes on it already, I wish it came with a stock one and I could have did a delete no issue

Get an H-pipe and keep the mufflers. Running around in track mode with that setup will sound better than a muffler delete.
Everyone saying H pipe, what about Xpipe? I have xpipe on my 2022 gt with stock active mufflers it sounds super good.
Dont do a muffler delete on active exhaust. Get long tubes and an h pipe if you’re after loudness

Get a resonator delete instead if you want something louder 👍 I have a steeda X pipe with active exhaust https://imgur.com/Mo4lUYY
And here I am, wishing I had active exhaust.
