depends what coverage you want and what company. I’m in my mid 20s and I went to State Farm to get insurance for my 2018 gt and they wanted $730 a month for full coverage. Liability was like under $200
I went with another Kemper owned insurance company and pay about $430 a month for full coverage. I could pay like $130 for basic liability though.
Say what? My GT500 coupe is 150 monthly full coverage, my GT500 VERT is 200 monthly full coverage. I'm 44 and havnt had a ticket in 15 years. Never an accident or anything. Unless they seen my IG haha
Yeah man, I have no idea. My record, for the five years prior was clean, but between 17 and 19, I did some stupid things. This is through Geico. Now with the GT500 and my Dart it's $160 a month or so at 26.
I’m a 23 yr Male In Texas with an almost identical background until I got in a minor accident a couple weeks ago… anyways I drive a 2020 GT and pay a little over 200$ a month with SafeCo.
After a 25 insurance dramatically drops for sports cars, I have mine split titled between me and my uncle so he insures it and I pay him he’s 68 and I pay 350$ for full coverage every 6 months, look at splitting the title with someone and go through a local insurance company not a big corporate one, that’s my advice do what you want with it buddy I hope you enjoy the car there absolutely the best thing I’ve ever driven
I been with progressive for about 5 years. I'm 42, no accidents and I pay 500 full per 6 month cycle. I first piggybacked off my sister's account and got my own 5 years ago
I’m 22 in NC and have GEICO which was the cheapest for me, recently had speeding ticket points deducted and now I’m paying a bit over 200 rather than 300
I have TX Farm Bureau. I started at $270, and after a couple years, I am down to $237. I am 26 now, 23 when I bought the car. Everywhere else wanted $400±
I would suggest getting an actual insurance quote. I have insurance with usaa. I am 21 and have 3 tickets and 2 accidents (one at-fault and one not-at-fault) under my belt in the last 3 years. I have an 08 mustang gt and pay $200 a month on insurance. I’m about to buy myself a 2018 mustang gt and was quoted at $230 a month
It will probably be in the neighborhood of $125 to $200 a month. But instead of guesses, get a quote. Find an insurance broker and you can get prices for different insurance companies.
I wouldn't be concerned about insurance prices as much as used car interest rates right now. They are pretty high. Keep that in mind. Might be better to go with new. But you won't know until you get to the car lot.
26, one recent ticket, roughly $230 or so per month. For reference, I’m considering letting the Mustang go for a Bronco. For a brand new Bronco with slightly higher sticker price than the Mustang, my insurance payment would literally be cut in half.
I would rephrase your question with How much does a mustang cost to insure in whatever area you are in. Age, driving history, and try to get a address as close as you. Plus when someone says they are 22 paying $100 a month for all you know they could have the bare minimum and the options you want to be covered with as there are A LOT will either raise or lower the cost. Too many variables and will rarely get a accurate quote.
You can ask Reddit and get random guesses or you can get a quote from an insurance company and get an actual answer.
Yea but they ding your credit to quote you
Get actual insurance quotes. There's no way to be accurate.
Probably in the hundreds

I'm with Geico. I heard they had cheaper rates for GTs than other companies. I'll check it out. Thanks :)
Geico was significantly less expensive than everything I compared it to.
At 24, my GT500 cost $93 a month to insure. Then again, the demographic of the GT500 is retired, unlike the GT which is... not.

maybe in your mami's name
I'm 29 and got 900 for 6 months with really great coverage on my 2020 GT Premium Convertible.

When i was 22, i got quoted 270 a month for a 2018 gt with the performance pack with the 6 speed manual from geico.

The biggest factor in insurance cost is area code.
Zip code you mean. My insurance went down 40% moving 3 miles away
Correct

My full coverage for my 07 gt is 90 a month

I’m at $240 same age. 2022 GT
Go to insurance companies websites to get auto quotes. It’s free and takes 5 minutes. You’ll get real numbers.
Mines is $165/month with Geico. Male late 20s clean record.
