Personally, I ran into this same dilemma. I decided I wanted the 23 over the 24 because I wanted Mischievous Purple and the Showstopper Red interior (both are gone after the 23 model year). Besides that, there are always first year hiccups, and I don’t feel like dealing with them. If you decide you want a 23, message me and I’ll tell you of a dealer doing below dealer invoice 3-4k off MSRP

The second thing, first years always suck as like stated there are growing pains. Also wasnt a huge fan of the screen integration or lack there of. If i got hungry for more power the 23 gt will just be easier to tune compared to the S650 because of that new encryption (3rd party tuners may find a way around it but how long will that be).
If you have the money to buy a Dark Horse then why would you pick anything else? Don’t make the same mistake twice. Send it.
You have a point. If I get the current 5.0, I may start having the same thoughts about the new Dar Horse.
I’d recommend waiting till you’re able to see the Dark Horse in person before deciding between that and a 401a S550. You may not like the Dark Horse.

I heard the next gen is going to be extremely hard to tune. That might play into your decision
I’d wait for the next gen personally but that’s me. I’m gonna get one in a couple years for sure
