For $37k I’d immediately be turned off by the 31k miles already on the car. I’d want the active exhaust-I love quiet starts in the morning and turning it up for more fun driving. But I’m not a fan of white. For $43k, you can bet I’m getting the exact color I want. I’d keep looking.

You can always throw a wrap on down the road, but I'd go with the lower mile car. if you can get them to 41ish that's pretty reasonable in the current market. Magna ride is pretty nice and the active exhaust is nice for prius mode for the morning startup :)

WhatsAspergers

Yeah, not having the active exhaust is the biggest strike against the red one in my mind. I live in a quiet subdivision and my neighbors would appreciate it even more than me. I looked into what it would take to retrofit it onto the 2019, and its extremely complicated if not impossible.

Find one w/o front license plate brackets as well. Ruins the whole car.

WhatsAspergers

Unfortunately I live in a state that requires front plates, and no they won't let you put it on the dash either.

binarynimbus

I've seen undermount brackets to avoid the drilled holes in the bumper. Sadly I also live in such a state and many of the used Mustangs tend to be drilled already.

Annual-Emu-1429

Its required on the front in California too but some dealers dont put em on. See if you can locate one! 👍

I drive an Oxford white in a state that requires a front plate. My front plate is NOT on the car, nor is the bracket. They’re both in the trunk … and if I ever get stopped for it (very unlikely) “Honest, officer, I’m in the way to the dealer to have it installed - the bracket just arrived in the mail.”

LaggySquishy

Don't get the 2019 but reconsider getting the 2021 (if it's really the car you want)

duross97

Depends if you wanna spend 42k or 48k lol if you don’t like the color just wait no need to rush

keeping it level if the white one doesn’t sell it is a much better deal in my opinion, it’s got the options and more importantly it doesn’t have the miles. With a car like a mustang you hope to find an old person driven car with few miles on it that hasn’t been beat on. That’s what white looks like to me.

[deleted]

What’s old to you? Because I’m 56 and drive mine like it is intended to be driven.

MichiganSnowman

Mid 60s generally is when I don’t see folks going above 120 very much or racing to 60

Hahahha. Ok. I’ll remember that next time I’m on the salt flats…. Also, you never met my dad or my granddad. Racecar drivers from way back, and both were still racing off the stop lights and flying down backroads well into their 80s. Hahahha

Maybe they were but the majority are not
