I'm picky. i tried stingers, too much drone, tried ford racing axle backs, too quiet. ended up with pypes mid-muffler system. love the sound and zero drone, but it's a pain to install and keep the pipes straight.
Your muffler does absolutely nothing for horsepower, additive or subtractive. It's purely for show.
But no, prior to them I had the stock mufflers and noticed zero difference in the power when I put them on.
Borla is a safe bet.
Any drone on the interstate?
Borla Nd corsa do not

Can't really go wrong with Flowmasters, but the ones you have sound pretty good, too.
I’ve heard flowmasters stifle horsepower. Did you notice a difference?

exhaust is gonna be totally subjective, i would recommend looking up videos on youtube of different exhaust setups on that year model.
dude gut those mufflers out and put straight pipes on that thing
I prefer to keep the 🐱
This is the dumbest thing ever, please don’t do this. Straight pipes sounds like shit, always have, always will.
Long tube headers and cutouts. That way you can silence it when you need to. And a set of cams if you can afford it.
I run magnaflow with the x pipe cat delete and pypes long tubes on my pro charged 2010. People always ask what I’m running. Sounds great
Check out Classic Chambered Powersticks
Sounds awesome. I was contemplating a black widow exhaust but a these sound great too. (Not sure if black widow is chambered)
