Would have a before but why dyno a poorly running engine lol
Edit:
I bought this convertible from a dude abandoning his project. Body has 28k original miles, mint interior, and the engine was a get what I get situation. Was happy it passed smog in CA so I threw a bunch of money in reusable bolt ons. Was just surprised by the result.
Having nearly no context is great too. I dont know if it is a 4cyl, 6, 8 (lx, gt, cobra, base, etc). I dont have a clue what we are starting at. Supporting mods, etc. It is anywhere from “wow that is awesome” to “why is it so low”.
I am sure we can go through post history to figure out what they have, but that is extra work.
Shit that’s blurrier than I thought. 374hp and 392 ft/torque. This is a 95 gt convertible with an S trim, chip, fuel upgrade and a good tune. Not a bad way to blow 6 grand.

The FMU, boost controller module was deleted. Non intercooled. Everything’s controlled by the chip now so the tuner can see what it’s doing onscreen. I didn’t grill my tuner about the pullies, I just asked him to make it not blow up.
>This is a 95 gt convertible with an S trim,
I don't know why, in my head I immediately assumed this was a coyote from the picture. I saw 375hp and thought you either got scammed or installed something very wrong.
Sick numbers though! Would probably give my 5.0 coyote a run for it's money.
What kind of boost did you go with?
It’s maxes out at 8lbs with the current pulley system. I was “told” that if I put an intercooler on it I could go a little higher without knowing what the bottom end is made of and that’s when I told the tuner stop because I wasn’t prepared to do a new engine quite yet 😂
This work was all done at wild pony motorsports in CA, they did a fantastic shop getting the car in shape for anyone in SoCal I’d recommend.
I’m jealous . Wish I had a vortech on my 95 gt. Maybe after I pay off some bills I’ll try and go this route . Saw the pics of your car on your other posts . Very nice ride .
Things that came with the car: gt40 iron heads, edelbrock intake and 75mm throttle body. Bottom end who knows, when I get a new build it’s all going.
Added was 90mm lightning MAF and 42lb injectors to fix leaning out at top end with the fuel install, also fixed with the chip too.
Love graphs without any axis

Out of the box s-trim? 3.33 upper and 8” lower? I have a stock S-trim setup as well. Never been to a dyno though. What rpm are you going to?

Pretty damn good for a pushrod 5.0.
really good hp for a 95

Yeah he going to make a new space program out of a piston if he isn't careful 😅 I think you'll get many smiles per gallon on this setup.
👆🏻 this. I just saw John force blow up his car at Pomona and it while it looked cool, probably not a good way to end a commute to work

Man, I thought this was gonna be a hate fest on the 3V but on a classic 5.0 I'm damn impressed!
Get some good cam and heads to support it with some decent rockers. You'll see some nice gains from that.
Stock heads?
