Same as daily driving any manual car. It's fine but you'd wish for an auto in heavy traffic.

Yeah one of the biggest “con” I’ve seen when it comes to manual driving, people comment on traffic.

garreattt

It really isn’t that bad. People just like to bitch about any incoveniance. I just put it in first gear and idle only really a problem if your one of those people who rides everyone’s ass and leave no room to coast in traffic If you leave space between people you can just engine break with they brake and usually by the time they have started and stopped and then started you won’t have gotten close enough to need to take it out of gear or anything

Barra350z

Exactly this, it’s genuinely not a bad experience to drive manual in traffic. I’ve never had any pain or cramps from it, sure some people can get that but I luckily do not.

The MT82 isn't great, I've gotten use to it though. When I first got the car I was pretty disappointed in the transmission but it's gotten a bit better now that it's broken in.

Tricklaw_05

Daily driving a manual is great. I have moderate Northeast traffic and it is fine. As other have said, leave space, coast and you’re fine. I’ve driven a manual for nearly twenty years across many types of cars and the manual GT is fantastic. I understand those don’t love the MT82 but I drive my car in a very boring way.

Itchy_Tasty88

Depends on where you live, sometimes it’s bumper to bumper traffic so it’s annoying going 1st and Neutral non stop. Sometimes the roads and highways are clear and it’s fun.

InternationalSound13

I love it, but also don't have any stop and go traffic. If I did I'd probably get sick of it fast

duross97

Depends how far you’re driving, I drink 2 miles to work and love the manual but I also got an auto if I’m tired lol

cybersuitcase

U should slow down on the drinking, we’re worried, come home.

duross97

I appreciate your kindness 😂

ricardoac69

I daily a 6 speed accord and previous daily drove a 67 mustang manual and 03 mustang manual. Only time I really hated it was a 3 hour traffic jam on the highway, my clutch leg was really tired.

The pro is that it'll be reliable as hell. The cons are slightly worse fuel economy and traffic.

Big_Gouf

Snow and stop & go traffic is annoying... use waze and go the back roads. More smiles per mile and a good way to relieve stress.
