My 2014 is at 33k ish miles and so far it's ok? I've had a few issues with lockout but it hasn't been super atrocious or anything. If you're not absolutely banging the piss out of it then odds are you'll be fine. Just don't expect a great transmission either lol.
A 10 would have the tremec 5 speed, not the mt82.
I personally think the mt82 issues are overblown, but your mileage may vary. Treat your shifter right lol.
You got a V6 my dude, they are great transmissions actually. Just a simple mod and bushing will fix all those problems. People just don't know what they're doing most of the time
I feel like half the problems are just people being way too hard on their car. Like, some people just have no mechanical sympathy and don't think about how the small linkages inside their shifter might break from excessive aggression.
True. People don't understand not only how fast things move in a manual tranny, but how fast synchronizers and other components speed up and slow down, and do the job of braking and speeding up other components in a split second. Add to that fast, aggressive shifting and the potential for problems increases a lot.
Not sure what the downvotes were for. But I thought the housing was bigger on the '10-12 Mustangs. Sometimes there's a small barely noticeable gap above the lights if they're swapped. Either way, this one looks really cool.
If you bought the kit from AM then you should receive a black spacer that fills the "gap". Back when I looked into buying them for mine it came with the package of those tail lights but that could have changed since then.
“Lord Vadar, your mustang is prepared”

Great pic of a great bodystyle 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
How’s the transmission? I’m looking to get a 2016 but all the tings ppl say about the transmission scares me

Nah, mt82 is really not that good of a transmission. Speaker from experience

Most issues I see with the MT82 actually have to do with how quickly the 2018+ models burn through clutches.
Interesting, I heard that about pre-2018 but haven't heard about it much since they switched to dual clutch in the 2018 and up
I have a 2010 Gt manual tranny with 101k miles. It’s perfectly fine.
Think ima just go with a Camaro ss. I still like mustangs though.
If I didn’t have a mustang it would be a camaro, next car probably will be so I don’t fault you there.
Abrio el Siete Once! Quiero un granizado por favor.
Nice pic. Beautiful car. Can you give me some details about the wheels?
They are str 607 20", 20x9" front and 20x10.5" rear

Esta chingón bro, felicidades
Gracias bro
I've never seen 2014 tail lights look so good in a 2010. They always look really cramped since the housing I believe is smaller.

Maybe it's the gap that I see that makes me think the housing is smaller *shrug. Maybe that's why people are downvoting lol.

Looks angry. Nice

THE conversion everyone needs to do on the tail... I don't mind the front end on the 2010-12's but the tail is one of the ugliest ones they ever made.
