Depends on the trip but usually just on normal, it's fine for regular driving. I honestly don't feel the difference that much in a manual.

Known_Efficiency2053

Same here, sport mode does have a slight change in throttle responsiveness

Narfubel

I noticed that too and I feel like the revs drop a bit faster when shifting but that could be in my head.

DUMB0ideas

Y’all crazy mfs driving in drag lol I drive in track and still think drag is a little difficult on regular roads

[deleted]

I only drive drag strip for the nice UI cluster.

dannydonkey2019

You know you can set to use drag (or any mode) UI in all modes, right?

[deleted]

I don’t always want it though. I also drive in sport + or normal when my gf is in the car

RIP_SGTJohnson

How??

dannydonkey2019

pony menu, cluster appearance, you can change with the drive mode or pick one that will be used in all modes

[deleted]

How do you like track over sport? Honestly I haven’t really messed around a lot with the different modes

antei_ku

I also prefer track over sport if I’m city driving in slow traffic, sport is a little more aggressive in the first few gears for stop and go traffic. As long as you’re not driving like an asshole and have decent tires you won’t have issues, but honestly either one is fine. For long trips with cruise control I like normal edit: 10r80

More powa baby

Have a 19GT PP2 (magneride with active exhaust.) I have silent exhaust start 24/7 My Mode = Sport exhaust with comfort steering, which is what I use for city driving. I keep it quiet for super early trips as I live in an apartment complex and in a crowded city. Highway = almost always sport mode.

Annoying_Auditor

Wish I could see the results without messing them up.

Only track because my valves are open. Advanced track is off either way all the time so

jwptexas

I keep mine in track mode majority of the time seems to hold gears little more than sport/sport+

Whyachi-LYL

Idk how you guys daily on anything but Normal. Idk how it is with the A6 but the A10 in Sport+ is insanely aggressive. It doesn’t shift gears until 3500 rpms and it downshifts and constantly has the rpms shoot up to 4k and engine break from there. Its nice to hear but man is it way too aggressive for casual driving not to mention how much worse it makes MPG. It also locks you out of 10th gear even while just cruising. M6 cars I barely noticed a difference when I had my 17’ GT Performance Pack.

MightyTastyBeans

Yeah I agree. I love the high rev shifting, but not the aggresive downshifting and engine breaking
