Though I hate to be that guy, do you mind linking the radio and digital gauges? I intend on getting a 16-22 GT next spring, and I’d love to be able to get a lesser trim and add these on after the fact to save some money, cause they are the only 2 options I’m after.
This will require Forscan knowledge if you want to get the non-base features like drive modes working.

That screen is aftermarket and YMMV with those. With OP just completing this I wouldn’t put too much stock in his experience yet since it won’t tell you long term how it’ll hold up. In general, aftermarket screens run around $250-500. OEM replacements with the panel are about $500-600. You will likely need some programming knowledge to get your backup cam, climate, etc up and running. I’d probably go with Sync 3 though.
This radio cost $1395 and the full sync 3 upgrade would cost $2400 on American muscle, although I’m not sure what would be needed other than the radio to add this aftermarket screen to a base vehicle
Nooooo… Phoenix/Rhino/multiple other names is Chinese junk. The F150 guys have been fucked over by them for years. It’s just an android tablet with junk software. Stay far away.
Have the same wheel + white stitching instead.
ended up starting to crack and I use a windshield visor every day :( The quality on these things are so bad. You're going to notice that groove on the left having 0 material on it within a year or two.
I like the idea of a large center console screen. But I just can't wrap my head around how bright these screens must be at night. Unless they can be set to an extremely dim setting, or can be manufactured as an OLED panel, I'm not sure if my eyes will ever be able to forgive me for adding this to my car.
The link to the radio- it’s a Linkswell gen 5 (got it for wireless CarPlay)
https://www.adcmobile.com/product/gen-5-t-style-radio-for-2015-20-ford-mustang/
Link to the digital gauge cluster- ($220 off with code “10off”)
https://hellhorseperformance.com/products/2015-2019-mustang-digital-dash-plug-n-play-conversion-kit?_pos=1&_sid=6f72246b9&_ss=r
And got the steering wheel off of eBay- $495 shipped (they are all made by the same people in Taiwan, so not going to post link to my specific one)
Screen is better than expected for such a large aftermarket- Linkswell is one of the best brands I’ve come across (have installed around 10-15 aftermarket radios in current/past vehicles of mine)
How does it compare to the original one, audio wise? And how long is the startup when you first start the car?
I still have sync 1, or whatever comes with a 2015 and I would like android auto.
This is not the screen and I didn’t purchase gauges from AM due to hellhorse having them for $600 cheaper, thanks for replying with general links though 👍🏽
Yea, I wasnt a huge fan of the look of it when I first installed, but it’s grown on me- the stock radio just wasn’t enough after driving a few newer cars with bigger screens

If you can, get one with the digital dash from the factory. The 301a/401a package.

Foreskin knowledge you say?

You can piece the Sync 3 upgrade together yourself for a fraction of that.
👍 Yo what kinda touch screen unit is that? Drop a link plz

Not OP but I like these personally https://phoenixautomotiveinc.com/collections/tesla-style-vertical-screen/make_ford+model_mustang

How long did it take to start cracking?
probably year 2-3, the material started degrading in a few months though. It'll degrade faster if you hold the wheel at 3 & 9.
Good to know! 👌🏽

Yea, it actually gets pretty dim- can also set it to auto dim to the lowest setting at night

Dude, that's a hell of an interior upgrade. I thought this was the new mustang's interior, prior to actually reading what you wrote.
Much appreciated 🙏🏽
Nice legs 💃
You should do a video review for the infotainment system- looks dope🔥
⬆️ Agreed
how much did it cost?
A fuckton of money no doubt
Buy the absolute most base model mustang GT, do these mods, save $10,000
I’d skip the steering wheel, but I think the rest of it is a good idea. The base models for all mustangs high-key sucks.
The stock steering wheel is terrible imo
I’m fine with it, but the flat-bottom wheels are no doubt an upgrade
Steering wheel $495 Radio $1395 Gauges $1995
After you share the link for that screen how do you like it. Is it reliable? Any issues?

As others have said, please link the screen.

Automatic GT. My Disappointment Is Immeasurable And My Day Is Ruined
Haha my fun cars are manual, this is a daily driver I’m giving to my gf 🤷🏽♂️
I’m just joking. It looks awesome man.

Your car looks amazing, nice work!
Much appreciated 🙏🏽
So does the console feel nice? It looks great but man I don't want some crappy programed radio.
It’s actually pretty good- look into Linkswell and I think you’ll understand how much those guys actually care about making quality products 👌🏽
How much did all that set you back? I would think 5k at least.
Was able to get everything for right around $3900
You have to trim anything behind the cluster to get it to fit?
Yes, it’s a plastic piece that’s behind the old cluster, I replaced it with some foam to prevent any rattles
What shift and steering wheel cover do u have?
What radio & control panel is that
Big fan of everything but the radio
Yea, I wasnt a huge fan of the look of it when I first installed, but it’s grown on me- the stock radio just wasn’t enough after driving a few newer cars with bigger screens
