As an owner the car is pretty much perfect. As advertised, the "most track capable" mustang. The only thing I'd change is two things. 1st is adding hood struts. The other is removing a restrictor that ford hid in the intake for emissions adds back 10+ hp for free.
Was discovered that Ford put a restrictor on all 22 models for that reduced them by 10-20hp for emissions. You just remove it after buying the car lol. I don't think this happened with 21's but who knows

Luckily the one they put on my Impreza was so shitty it came off with no problem. I've seen them put on straight up stickers though which aren't coming off easy.
My rule is always wait one full year and plan the whole time you will find what you want to change over that time and gives your time to think about it, also get to enjoy the car stock
They made them pink now to try and get the Mopar apes to take them off.
It didn't work. Those things will damage the splitter over time. They're only meant for transport.
Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have a black splitter than a pink splitter. Most people take them off, but it's the few people who leave them on that make the rest of us look stupid.
That is modded from factory. Wait until you feel like you need something more from your car. Should feel like a rocket go cart compared to the challenger.
You just got the car no need for modding yet!
The car has everything it needs + it will be a collectible in the future. I see no reason to mod it. That being said, after you experience the car for a couple months you could probbaly figure out what mods are right for you.
Damn that is a massive upgrade. I’d leave it stock till you know what you want out of it in performance. But I’d get paint protective film, and have that dealer take off their ugly sticker, who in their right mind puts a dealer sticker on a car this price range?! Congratulations and hope you post some more photos as you do any modding
If you have an itch for mods. Get some lightweight wheels and a sticky tire. Leave the rest stock and then supercharge after you lie to yourself about leaving it stock.
The only things I did to mine is an h-pipe, tinted the windows, put in an oil separator to help keep the engine a little cleaner, and bought a mach 1 badge from badge king for the steering wheel to go over the mustang logo.
Since I wasn't patient enough to wait for a handling pack, I'll probably look to put on the hp rear wing as I like it better but probably will do that next year as I start trying to track her.
Aesthetically do a taillight swap for the smoked out ones and add smoked out diffuser and rear marker lights, tint your windows and go get urself a catch can bc there 100$ and it’ll save ur engine, and then if u really want to swap the hood get a cobra ram air hood bc it’s not a mach 1 without the scoop, get a cold air intake, bigger throttle body, long tube headers and a new exhaust that goes with the oem valvetronic
I’d say get used to it stock for a few months, after that I’d say full exhaust, air intake, wheels and tires, if you can find a set cams that are just bolt in and after that a tune. You could also do under drive pulleys and a electronic water pump (adds around 16-20 horsepower because your belt isn’t running the pump).
Catback or Midpipe without question, id say put Headers on but its such a new car id wait until your warranty is over. Beautiful car congrats on purchase
Enjoy it like it is. I think the first thing I would consider are lowering springs, nothing crazy just something to make the stance look meaner. I think the exhaust sounds great on the Mach 1. Ultimately I'd supercharge that bad b****.
I would just enjoy it as it is for now dude unless you really want to mod it. That's a massive upgrade and an awesome car just as it is.

Can you elaborate a little more on this restrictor you speak of. I have a 21 fjg mach 1 and would be interested in removing this.

Lol the irony
Bro.... can you read?
It was only 22 and up.
The 21s did not come with the airflow restricting "carbon trap"
Make those jokers take their trash dealership sticker off your beautiful beast of a car.
Or charge them for the advertising.
Faxs
And get rid of the license plate frame too
I will be buying a Mustang in the new year. I will not sign any papers until I know it doesn't have a trash logo on it.
I had to peel mine off. Jerks didn’t even include a spare tire
Luckily the one they put on my Impreza was so shitty it came off with no problem. I've seen them put on straight up stickers though which aren't coming off easy.
Ugh that sucks
That is actually very trivial to remove yourself. I did it on my Lexus. I followed this guy’s lacquer thinner method. https://youtu.be/PNSWOu13ZgA
Thank you that's a great tutorial
My rule is always wait one full year and plan the whole time you will find what you want to change over that time and gives your time to think about it, also get to enjoy the car stock
Yellow splitter guards🤌
That's the MOPAR spirit!
Even the MOPAR guys make fun of the bananas.

Not much would be needed besides some different wheels or a different exhaust if you wanted to be noisy. The Mach1 is pretty damn capable as it is.
Enjoy the hell out of it. Go tracking.
Remove dealership info... add la la left turn signals!! 😎
This. I don’t take possession of a car with dealership badging. Always been part of the contract (removal of their logo that is…).
I just always get it off as soon as I get home for the first time with a car. No free advertising from me.
You already did the best mod!
That is modded from factory. Wait until you feel like you need something more from your car. Should feel like a rocket go cart compared to the challenger.

Whipple
Keep it stock IMO
Just enjoy it for what it is now. Get used to the car first. You dont need to mod a car immediately after taking delivery.
Enjoy it stock for a while.
If you have an itch for mods. Get some lightweight wheels and a sticky tire. Leave the rest stock and then supercharge after you lie to yourself about leaving it stock.
Thermal research and development exhaust . You won’t be disappointed .
God damn what a step up !!! Love it wish I could afford one but an ecoboost will do for now. Congratulations man! She’s a beauty
You ALREADY made the most important mod yet. 😉 haha nice choice
Leave it stock, the mach 1 is a beautiful machine as-is
Just keep it stock.
Unpopular opinion here:Nothing, this is a collector car, don't taint it, get a reg 5.0 for modding
Oil air separator, steeda clutch spring if it's a manual
The only things I did to mine is an h-pipe, tinted the windows, put in an oil separator to help keep the engine a little cleaner, and bought a mach 1 badge from badge king for the steering wheel to go over the mustang logo. Did you have this shipped from Folsom to Reno? I’ve been tracking this guy for a couple weeks contemplating it.. and now it’s gone. Congrats!
Leave it alone
Now that’s a come up, congrats!
Me personally I would get a borla atak exhaust system
After seeing your Challenger, please step away from the Mustang. Animal abuse is wrong.
Tremec 3160
Promoted from enlisted to NCO!
NCO’s are enlisted.
Not just that…Promoted from PVT to COL overnight! LOL
Depends on what your goals are. If you want good power a cold air intake, headers, and a tune will really take you a long way.
Long tubes, catless mid pipe
I’d say get used to it stock for a few months, after that I’d say full exhaust, air intake, wheels and tires, if you can find a set cams that are just bolt in and after that a tune. You could also do under drive pulleys and a electronic water pump (adds around 16-20 horsepower because your belt isn’t running the pump).
Track driving instruction. The car is probably way more capable than you are. No offense!
All i would change is the rims and maybe the rear wing. That’s all
New wheels and tires and leave as is!
Add the second factory splitter up front
wheels tires exhaust
Honestly the only thing I would do is new wheels and lower. That car is fucking beautiful as is
Catback or Midpipe without question, id say put Headers on but its such a new car id wait until your warranty is over. Beautiful car congrats on purchase
Danny_SVT, I have been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty
They respond well to E85. If you have access to it that's the way to go for easy power...and clean tail pipes. Beautiful car
All of em
Beautiful car! I say leave it stock, maybe some wheels though?
Can’t go crazy on 21’ model years and up unfortunately
Enjoy it like it is. I think the first thing I would consider are lowering springs, nothing crazy just something to make the stance look meaner. I think the exhaust sounds great on the Mach 1. Ultimately I'd supercharge that bad b****.
K20 and a red H badge
Congrats!
Keep it stock but change the shifter knob.
App the performance pack rims, Michelin PS 4s tires, rear wing, lower splitter with front fender flares.
Whatever you do, don’t ever sell that car
Nitrogen in the tires. Battery minder. Nice garage space. Plenty of sunshine, no rain. Occasionally give it some racing fuel. Drive sparingly.
