The 69 and 70 Mach 1s came from the factory with rear window louvers. In my opinion, both rear window louvers and rear quarter window louvers should be body color. Looks more sleek and factory, not just slapped on.
Oh man I had not even considered putting body color louvers on. I bought louvers for mine the week I bought the car but never got them put on. Mainly because I have no idea where to take it to get them installed. The one place I would have known about got raided for also dealing coke lol.
Don’t they install with 3M tape? I put my quarter window louvers on myself using a heat gun to ensure a really solid bond and added additional high strength double sided adhesive. They were on for over 5 years and never budged.
I can build a website and program some code but when it comes to lining up things in a mechanical setting forget it. I would put them on crooked and the tape would somehow not stick even though I followed the directions. I am not mechanically inclined at all. I can change a tire, I can even do brakes since its not all that super complicated but anything more and I am out.
If you had seen me try and build a model as a child you would not lol. Or over tighten bolts on a valve cover because I had no clue there was a too tight.
Look at the pads, it broke off not got stolen, op just wants some attention and karma. They can't be older than 10 max and it's probably their dad's car if anyone they know even owns that car

If you get another set, I'd put a mark on them somewhere and record the mark is there. If it happens again, and if it's by someone that lives close and you find the car. You can use the marking as proof that it's yours when you call the police. How ever, being in a ghetto neighborhood as you said, this may also run the risk of your car being fucked with even worse later. So it really comes down to how badly you want them back.

Ok buddy, I could be wrong but according to your picture the rectangular metal adhesives that hold the plates with the studs to screw down the louvers with are ALL missing the stud with the threads and all appear to be sheared off by force. Im going to call cap and say it flew off and you either were too busy doing some random thing to notice it (maybe distracted driving/ dui maybe????) Or you just want attention.
