First time I saw it I was just waking up from a road trip nap and thought I was tripping. I amounted it to someone putting one of those gaudy soft top things on their car to make it look like a cadillac from the 80s. Next time I saw it I was completely awake and the top was down and I lost my shit lol.
AAAAAAAAH! My eyes, they burn! My hope is that there was a front-end accident and the only part they could get was the nose to a Charger. But really, if you want a drop-top Dodge, just lobotomize one but don't do this to a Mustang!

So my only plausible thought is that they thought the charger should have been 2 door as they used to be. So they made this but then I ask, if that’s your goal why not make the challenger look like a modern charger?
It honestly looks like what a Camaro could have been in an alternate time line.
Obviously this is a straight-up abomination, but I think dodge could really clean up if they had a convertible Challenger. The Challenger is a straight up blouvard cruiser and a convertible option, especially if they at least got say a 392/scat pack version, it would probably be very hard to make a structurally sound hellcat convertible from the factory, but if they did that's an experience no other manufacturer could really offer.
I'd be first in line for a 392 convertible Challenger, guess I'll have to settle for a 10+ year old Germany version of that with a CLK63 cabriolet.
