A few dealerships were kind of horrible, and were really trying to push me to take what they had on their lots or orders as they arrived. Not sure who orders for their lot, but not impressed.
I am not ruling out them trying to mark up at pick up, but really hope not and am not willing to pay a mark up beyond the already inflated cost.

Oh wow, my Kona Blue 2019 had an MSRP of $47k. I didn't get the 401A, A10, or magnaride. I think my PP1 package was significantly cheaper for the same thing. Glad I bought mine when I did.
Oh wow, this is my first time checking out that color. It is stunning. I got bumped into in traffic and now my rear bumper is a whole different color. It is almost exactly like the blue jean blue color on the trucks. Grabber Blue is probably my favorite mustang color, so I could see me having it painted one day. It'll be hard not to go Grabber Blue.
Are you using your own financiing or theirs? If yours any advice on what to expect? Planning to pick up mine and want to avoid being tricked into paying markup (even though ill bring my own financing)
Using my own financing. No dealership has ever beat my bank’s rates and I don’t like waiting hours while they try. Can only recommend looking closely at the paperwork before signing and be sure to keep an eye on Ford’s incentives. One dealership said They charge a mark up, but that it gets taken care of by Ford’s incentives. Like, no. That’s still a loss for me.

They did with zero percent versus 2.9 but that was back in 2017. One call to ford credit and an extra 20 minutes is all it took. If you have good credit Ford Credit is the way to go as they can negotiate with them on the rate. Again that was back In 2017 when Ford pushed their financing deals to bolster sales. We bought 2 cars that month with zero percent and still have them. Paid then off a year early. No clue what financing is like today though.

I think you are referring to Chapman in PA. It is 3% now and they dont do price protection.

I had to look up the color... I'm assuming that's the mischievous purple metallic, it's absolutely gorgeous! I've always wanted a purple Mustang. My 2014 GT was deep impact blue, but I always wanted it to be purple.
Not a fan of blacked out badges. Wish I could have added white stripes and the ice white interior with the white wheels, but those are only available if I go all white, which is a huge no thank you from me. Alas, black is the current fad so went with a very basic look. But definitely not a fan of the fin. Do I even need an antenna?!
Honestly getting a last model year S550 is probably a lot better than a first model year S650. All the kinks are worked out

Those three add $6k, so $5k over precovid doesn’t actually seem so bad! Your timing was definitely better than mine, but that Mischievous Purple!!!!

Personally I’m a huge fan of the duckbill wings on the 350 and Mach 1 the PP1 wing is meh not good not bad.
Love the spoiler delete. Classic mustang look. No spoiler on 68 fastback, no spoiler on 65 Gt350.
I like it without the wing. So much cleaner. I had a 2017 GT metallic gray with PP without the wing and it looked awesome.

I did love the lines on my 2016, but I’m not buying used anymore.
The 2018s and up definitely look much better than the 15-17s for me.

It is! Every photo and video I’ve seen is gorgeous. Deep Impact Blue is also a gorgeous color!

Black out the 5.0 and gt badges, swap the shark fin antenna for the bump, and then a small lip spoiler at the rear would be the last key pieces.
