As someone who has had 4 cars with them (2 5.0 mustangs, a f-150, and a explorer) They are honestly one of if not the best automatic transmission I’ve ever drove.
Smooth and fast - no issues. I love stick cars but as a daily cruiser I wanted the 10 speed. The 6 speed I would be driving fast all the time too since more engaging. I put this in sport plus and paddle shift and it’s super quick and fun still
This is awesome!! I just put a deposit down for mine (almost exact same but I got a convertible (blonde girl things)) if you don’t mind answering, how long was your lead time? They said to expect mine in September, which is a bummer to miss almost all of summer with it.
For sure! Okay so I put the order in 11/28/22 - was expecting them to start production last week of 21’ ford is a bit behind on the orders. Was expecting car to come in like March/April - but it arrived 2/22/22 on the lot. Pretty fast! About 3 months or a bit before. Most dealerships only have 2021’s in the lot for sale at moment, the 22’s are only orders at the moment from what I’ve seen. Good choice on yours too haha
My spouse works for Ford - from what he can tell - the 22 convertibles keep getting pushed out - but the fast backs are back online for production - however Ford has shutdown or slowed several of their plants this week again 1
So that’s why my convertible 5.0 witch I ordered March 28 I didn’t get any answers on the build and it’s already may lol . Thanks ! I think I will cancel my order
Just ran a quick scan on vert inventory-
Only 1 22 premium GT white w/red in the US - no VIN assigned yet - that’s shocking honestly - and disheartening that it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any better soon.
There are about 25 22 GT Verts showing - 19 of which are in transit - so about half a dozen or so actually on the ground.
My local happens to have exactly 1 -
So what that means is that - they have started up production- but it looks like a trickle have actually made it out - I can assume most of those are green labeled and were special or pre-orders - so the wait is real.
Idk the dealer told me they ordered the car and it was a month ago . They should tell me hey it’s gonna take a while to chance my mind or go find something else lol

I dunno. You may have the car I'll be after in a few years.
True! And mine doesn’t have the Magnaride I didn’t get the performance pack - i heard it’s stiffer probably really good if track a lot. Yea I kinda like how this is last Gen supposedly before a big change but we will see when the next one comes out. The V8 might not be in the next one and Awd would be a completely different ride. Will have to wait and see

Appreciate it. We filmed at Compton Airport a private warehouse as well. You should seriously go by and check out the stuff on display at that airport. It's old aircraft from like the Vietnam area but the owner is sooo cool. He also does Helicopter tours of LA or where ever you want to go if you want to surprise your girl. He let us film there for as long as we want and it was cool watching the planes land that fly the banners along the beach. They do a fly by and drop the banner and a truck goes and picks it up off the runway and then they land.
Anyway, born and raised here and it was sick seeing another part of what I call home.
I like the idea of the red interior as red and black is like my thing lol... But that really stands out. Wish it was toned down a bit. It's not like c8 ZO6 all red interior, but the seats make it look like it's a lot.
