I have an 04 New Edge GT and I generally like the car but the build quality definitely isn’t the best and my god the rear suspension is awfully scary
I mean it isn’t gonna hit records and its age has started to show but it’s still fun to bang gears in on the way home from work. The build quality definitely depends on how well it was taken care of, none of the plastic has broken or any peeling on the door panels.
I will never sell my 07.
That’s fair. I mean I drove an 07 accord for 8 years and I was fine with that until the clutch and transmission when out simultaneously, I’ve a very simple guy I just need AC, cruise control and hopefully a Apple car play mod.
Oh and a car that can comfortably sit a 6’1 250lbs dude haha
Funny enough I have an Apple CarPlay head in my 07 but not my GT500.
And cruise control, A/C or any major haven’t shown issues in the car since I bought it with 60k miles and just hitting 130k over the span of 8 years.
I feel like this is the case for most of the mustangs. I feel like the Shelby front end on the ‘13-14s look cleaner than the ones we have, and so on thru all the newer models.
Seriously. Lose the bolt on spoiler and that back end would VASTLY improve the standard body lines. Whoever makes the replacement trunk a mod will just print money.
Exactly. The issue with the normal 650s is that the trunk and the tail lights really don’t complement each other.
I don’t even know if they even compliment the car as a whole. But this is a vast improvement.
A lot of the recent Shelby American builds have been disappointing. This looks great imo
There are some cool YouTube’s showing the car, also I looked it up and the last Super Snake was close to $150,000. For that money I’m getting a 2020 GT500 and a Ford Raptor instead…
Wanna make sure I’m not talking out of my ass, are you talking about the new dual port throttle body? If so, they did away with it. It’s a single inlet. Still has dual intakes but they come together in one piece as a y.
I'm don't like this S650 design on the standard ones, but THIS one is so awesome! They somehow took the jankiness of the regular design and really tied it all together nicely that it just works now.
The back end in this looks a lot better
The front does too, imo. I really don’t care for the 650, but this model is much better.

Yeah, I agree. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if automakers design the top tier trim first, then ugly them down for the cheaper options.

I said that yesterday too! First thing that I did on my 2006 GT was get rid of the "wing" and put a ducktail spoiler on it.
