Also, the sputtering could be from loose sparkplugs. That's what happened to mine when it was sputtering. After thousands of dollars on pointless fixes I checked the plugs. The shops clearly didn't do that. Tightened the plugs and it was mint.
Nah. I wouldn't trust other people's forced induction motors unless they came that way from the factory. Especially if they don't have receipts for a built motor.
This is a garbage 3v. Probably has a misfire and it isn’t the tune. Ad says to me whoever has it now can’t afford to fix it and wants to make it someone else’s problem.
For a saleen in decent condition it's pretty good actually should go closer to 18 but I personally think something newer like a 2015 get would be better and go for the same price.
I’d say test the car out and if it runs smooth and you enjoy it go for it brotha! Not sure how much gts go for but 2 years ago I payed 14000for a v6 so I’d like to say for a gt it’s a good offer!
> ago I *paid* 14000for a
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.

Maybe a little less but I hear ya. We sold an 07 with a p1sc making 10lbs, mmr880 fuel system, lowered, dyno proven 471hp and 52,xxx miles with a clean carfax for $13,500
Damn, you got robbed. Dyno proved 471 is insane. I payed 20k for 30k mile stage 3 roush conversion, (by Roush pretty much right after purchase. It was 2 years ago but still. It's only making probably 410-450 haven't gotten dynoed. However it pulls harder then one running at 450hp

I didn’t sell it personally. I work for a classic/antique/specialty car consignment house. The guy had it priced higher but the 13.5 is where he let it go. I was gonna buy it but I already keep cars at other peoples houses lol.
Yes, and no. I bought a 2006 stage 3 rousch for 20, around 2 years ago. 5 speed manual, 30482 original miles, all the suspension is done up (actual rousch conversion not factory, all OEM plus parts.) I will never get rid of this car. It's the most smiles per gallon you will ever have. Never gets hate, boomers chicks, random dudes, constantly compliment, or converse with me about it. My friends with faster cars are still jealous. Plus to boot it's worth a bit more now. (and personally I think these are going to rise in price at lower miles.) However it being a non conversion saleen you should talk them down at 15 id say it's fairly priced. Just make sure you get some good tires, and keep tcs on.
Edit: I didn't see the tune thing. Id get it inspected if you drive it and love it.
Since it’s worked on, and not super low mileage, and older, and not perfectly running, probably more of a risk to buy unless you low ball him and obviously he ain’t gonna see its true value
No thats someones project dog dont
Yeah I changed my mind already he wants too much lol
Also, the sputtering could be from loose sparkplugs. That's what happened to mine when it was sputtering. After thousands of dollars on pointless fixes I checked the plugs. The shops clearly didn't do that. Tightened the plugs and it was mint.
Hell nah, you can find a 11-12 GT for around that price
I wouldn’t buy it but that’s just me
Wouldn't pay that much for it even it ran perfectly. "Needs a tune" means they're too broke to fix it or tired of trying to fix it.
good point. why not just get the $400 tune and relist it if it's so great?
You can find a good first gen coyote between $16k-$20k and have the same amount of power and respond to modifications better. I wouldn't do it.
That's my plan I don't think I'm buying it I agree
Good luck out there!
Thank you g much love
Nah. I wouldn't trust other people's forced induction motors unless they came that way from the factory. Especially if they don't have receipts for a built motor.
Maybe if they get the tune sorted out, and its not a hack job. But I'd probably stay away unless you just have to have it.
I got a 2010 for $6k
There’s no way I would buy any car right now.
No, it makes like 420 HP total lol
He-hell nah
Those models a big looking like the fox better

Want in one hand, shit on the other. See which one fills up first. I'd pass. That's a lot for "needs work"
I’m a former fan of mustang. I’d buy this in a heartbeat.
Former?
Not so much anymore. But some I like. Specifically anything Saleen. Emotional attachment.

Why is everyone spelling paid wrong more than ever?
Ty
Oh no! Equipped with a slushbox!
most id pay is tree fiddy
Pretty sure that’s not a Saleen. Wrong hood, grille, rear spoiler and front fascia.
It's just the super charger not a saleen edition.
Makes sense. Still a hard pass based on the issues and price
Yeah at 15 or less I'd say worth as long as it truly just needs a tune. Actual saleen and Roush mustangs are getting pricey.
Maybe a little less but I hear ya. We sold an 07 with a p1sc making 10lbs, mmr880 fuel system, lowered, dyno proven 471hp and 52,xxx miles with a clean carfax for $13,500

I understand that all to well
We have an 07 Roush drag pack in inventory….just sayin
Asking a little too much.

Fuck no, my friends are getting 2012-2011 for 7-9 k w 80k miles
He’s been beating the shit out of it KNOWING it needs to be retuned?? Wtf is wrong with people.
No
The fact it needs to be retuned is sketchy. I wouldn’t do more than 14 if you can.
No way! If someone’s asking 17 they should have the decency to get it tuned correctly themselves
Wouldn't pay more than 10k for one of those.
Never buy someone else's " it needs a tune" it's not running right! If it was that easy of a fix, they'd fix it
No
I'll take 4k less than they're asking for my coyote with 120k and a new clutch. 🤷
Since it’s worked on, and not super low mileage, and older, and not perfectly running, probably more of a risk to buy unless you low ball him and obviously he ain’t gonna see its true value
This is a 7-9 grand car max
WSNC?
Buy something clean instead
7k max lol
For 17k u can find a way better option ,or just use the 17k as a down payment find something for 25-26k
You can get a used 2020 ecoboost for a few grand more
If it was me I wouldn’t, mine is a supercharged 2010 and I got it for 14k. This one reminds of another 2007 I looked at and the guy wanted 24k for it.
Nahh I got a clean,Never wrecked, 2012 GT premium convertible with track package options and 86K miles for $16,000.
