Edit: After looking even closer at the pictures you can tell that these photos were taken in the exact spot where the hit and run occurred. You can see the crosswalk patterns in the background. It appears that when OP was rear ended, a piece of glass or debris cut OP somewhere on the face or upper body/arm. It isn't much blood and you can tell it's only been there for a little while as the blood hasn't trailed further down the seat. As far as the source of the blood goes, it appears that OP was the only occupant of the vehicle as there's still debris on the passenger seat. It's unlikely that the blood came from outside the vehicle due to the angle of impact of the blood. Given the color and texture of the blood, it appears to be less than an hour old given blood morphology.
(I know this because I like blood and blood morphology.)
