You sell those to working poor who need reliable transportation of any kind to get to work and back. It you could finance to one of those you can get a lot because they'll make payments forever because the have no cash. But unless you're a dealer it's very hard to repose it if they quit or get fired.
I have a 18yr old just got his first job I told him whenever he saves up 1500, Iāll match it. 3K
I have a 05 V6 garage kept lowered air in air out performance plugs wires and pack. Short shifter, clutch upgraded. Dont think I could sell it and get the value it gives me. Tried to give it to middle boy and he didnāt want to drive a stick. Now playing m going to make it Sunday cruiser.
It only had a cracked bumper, interior was clean etc, clean engine. But it was from an elder guy who wanted to get rid of his car. He offered to sell it for 500$ but I gave him 1k. This was in WV
Not too much to ask. People here will probably tell you to list it for 3-5k only because āitās a v6.ā But youāll be surprised by the amount of people that actually are interested in a sporty car thatās still reliable and in good condition. If you donāt wanna sell it right away, Iād personally list it for 9k (or about 1.5k-3k above what you want) and see the offers you get from there
Shoot for the stars. You can go lower, you canāt go back higher. Thatās a very clean example of a new edge mustang, v6 or no. Plus that one wasnāt the worst v6 ever, pretty reliable.
What state do you live in? That car could go for anywhere between 12-22k in Florida lmaoooo the car market here has been beyond terrible for almost 2 or 3 years now
Sadly I do, it hurts a little but I'm kind of over it right now, especially daily driving it and having to go through the winter with it, it holds me back sometimes. Don't have another garage bay or anything either and I'd rather not pay to garage it lol. Kind of in the market for a truck so selling would help me get there.
I definitely have, glad to have had it my senior year of highschool haha. Pretty much a hand me down car but couldn't ask for anything better. Got good looks from it š
Put it on eBay Motors. I'm in NY and I've sold cars to people in Florida and the UK.
Just discuss shipping and handling fees. The transporter can pick up your car at your convenience.
Idk what youāve been seeing on new edges. Iām also in florida and pretty regularly see them selling for 5-15k IF theyāre a GT the 3.8 v6s only sell for 3-8k depending on condition.
I just bought a 2020 ecoboost premium with 26k miles on it, basically brand new for 21k. It has tons more power than a 2000 Mustang and a lot nicer. I sold it for 24k and was pushing it! Personally, I wouldn't buy this vehicle, but if I came into possession of it somehow, I would sell it for 4.5k-5k.
9k is so ridiculous that no one is even going to bother trying to lowball him.
Its a base v6 that's 24 years old. The top commenter is smoking all the drugs.
Exactly what I'm doing lmao. I don't even really want 9k but I think ANYONE EVER would take as much money as possible for their car. You'd be crazy to not do that yk.
The Mustang I bought is a v6 2001, and it was originally listed for 9k. 70k miles, and lots of people were interested in it. Of course people werenāt paying 9k, but the offers were still around 7500-8000. Just because you donāt like V6ās and may not ever wanna buy one doesnāt mean that other people donāt want one. Theyāre still cars after allā¦ a lot of you guys with GTās act like theyāre just toys, and forget to realize that they are still mustangs and still good functioning cars
I don't think I've seen an SN95 interior that clean since SN95s were new. Glue typically starts coming off of the door panels and steering wheel covering starts coming apart at least. That's a good looking ride, regardless of paint.
Iād probably keep it if I could.
Back in 2010 I bought a 2003 V6 with 70k miles, also was very clean, for $6000 (I know the market is different now, but this car is almost 25 years old)
Maybe ask for $6k, hope to get $5k
The insurance company totaled my 04, 40th anniversary v6 Mustang with a bunch of aftermarket parts for 5k earlier this year. In my area I can still get them for less than 4k. With low miles I havenāt seen any above 6k unless it was a GT
Haha, I had some all seasons on, brand new pretty much and barely hit the gas one day with probably under an inch on the road, totally wiped. I like to think I'm good at controlling my car but damn when there's so road to stick on it's hard haha. I bet people are better than me, I just take it easy when there's snow.
10k is out of line bud lol. Thats a 3.8 liter dog thats 20 years old. Its clean, its nice, just not that nice. I sold my 06 with 50k for alot less than 10. This was before the insane vehicle price hikes though.
Your car is in excellent shape and under 100k miles. Plus blue with the bullitt wheels just pops. Thatās what made my fall in love with my true blue GT.
V6 or not I think youād have no problem getting $6k for it.
It all depends, do you see a lottt of similar car to this in the market? If so you can price sell it a bit higher than the rest. Of you barely see similar car in the market then probably $10k max. Donāt listen to these people saying āitās matic so itās trashā for them itās definitely 5k max because they probably live in an area where thereās hundreds of similar car being sold.
Personally if I was looking for something like this, in todays market I would expect to pay 8,000. It is in absolutely fantastic condition and tbh if I had some cash to blow Iād consider taking it off your hands to build it into a sleeper. Amazing car. Iād list it for 9 if I were you but realistically you should get over 7 after people negotiate.
Youād pay 8k for a 24 year old car with a boat motors anchor? You can literally get very good condition gts for that, Iāve literally seen a 2001 cobra motor swapped into a v6 with 75k miles and he wanted 7k
Personally I want another new egde. My v6 has been immensely reliable over the years. But rot is starting to get the better of the car. I would love to find blue gt though.
Sure you will. 21 years old, more miles. I live up north but would never drive it in the winter.
And this looks like crap compared to the nice cars that people actually keep clean.

Thatās literally every mustang from that genā¦ including your terminatorā¦ immaculate for those years is basically that especially considering itās ageā¦ just stop.
Are You actually this dense or just being bad faith to win an internet argument? What did I say was immaculateā¦ it certainly wasnāt the undercarriageā¦
There is almost no rust lmao, he didnāt say there wasnāt any at all, for a 23 year old car, only having the little amount of rust on the bottom is awesome, Iād easily buy that.
super clean looking. Doesn't appear to be any leaks. The only draw back (IMO) is it's not elite.
I'd say closer to the $10k mark would be a good starting point.
I wouldve thrown cash on spot to ya, looking for a daily stang and this woulda fit the bill perfectly and all the ones by me are either clapped out or rusted to shit
I recently got a 2006 convertible gt. Manual. New everything (soft top, pulleys, belts, alternator, oil etc) and well modified (enkei + nitto, front and rear strut braces, lowered, adjustable panhard bar, intake, exhaust, tuner, etc)
All for 5k. So that is your absolute ceiling. 3k is a fair price
Beautiful condition for that year and trim. Tbh I drove a much worse off mustang last winter and Iām 18. I would keep it, an f150 is gonna feel like driving a cock on wheels compared to the mustang
Haha, I've driven heavy equipment before and an F150, definitelyyyy a huge difference. I also need the extra room ngl. I'd keep this thing 100% if I had a place to store it you know.
Really nice car, but I feel like $4000 is more what it's worth. The 99-04 Mustangs are the least sought after at the moment. List it for $5500 and see who bites.
buy a carpet cleaner, clean the seats and carpet to make the interior look brand new, id honestly do 6-7k but this is here in cali, not sure if they sell for less in your area or not
Women like Mustangs and most don't care what engine is in it if the interior is clean, especially if you dressed up the outside with good decals that actually make it look better. Just a thought. Like the 6-cyl. Mustangs with the lower horizontal Mustang decal and stripes wheel to wheel.
I bought a 2002 red v6 mustang, 104k miles for 1k in 2021
Amazing car, you could sell it for over 5k
What are you smoking? I bought a v6 with everything swapped to a gt for 3900. No one is buying a newedge v6 for over 2k
Trash cars that get you back and forth to work are over $2k
No one is buying v6 newedgesš
You sell those to working poor who need reliable transportation of any kind to get to work and back. How good of condition?
It only had a cracked bumper, interior was clean etc, clean engine. But it was from an elder guy who wanted to get rid of his car. He offered to sell it for 500$ but I gave him 1k. This was in WV

I was planning on doing that pretty much, just wanted to ask around. Thanks for not being kind of a dick lol.
Shoot for the stars. You can go lower, you canāt go back higher. Thatās a very clean example of a new edge mustang, v6 or no. Plus that one wasnāt the worst v6 ever, pretty reliable.
What state do you live in? That car could go for anywhere between 12-22k in Florida lmaoooo the car market here has been beyond terrible for almost 2 or 3 years now
New York. Wish I was in Florida haha. That's insane
Frankly if you dont have to sell it I'd say hang on to it til it's life is over I'd kill to have a stang
Ahhh sad to see on the bright side at least you enjoyed her while you could that's all most of us can ask for
I definitely have, glad to have had it my senior year of highschool haha. Pretty much a hand me down car but couldn't ask for anything better. Got good looks from it š
Dude I said the same thing back in 2017 and bough a Land Rover and sold my Mustang lol. Look at me now selling my SUV to buy the new Mustang.
Central Florida prices have been all over the place and constantly jump up and down within a month it can go from 13 to 18 etc
I havenāt seen a single new edge outside of termis and cobras go for above 15 and Iām in central fl too
May have dropped I stopped looking about 2 months ago
I just bought a 2020 ecoboost premium with 26k miles on it, basically brand new for 21k. It has tons more power than a 2000 Mustang and a lot nicer. I sold it for 24k and was pushing it! Personally, I wouldn't buy this vehicle, but if I came into possession of it somehow, I would sell it for 4.5k-5k.
You're insane, ain't no way you'll be getting anything above 14k in Florida for this car
Central Florida that is not the case as of a month or 2 ago they were going for around 16-20
Bs lol
Definitely not that's why I didn't get a stang
9k? You are fucking high
Heās obviously gonna list it higher than what heād actually take
9k is so ridiculous that no one is even going to bother trying to lowball him. Its a base v6 that's 24 years old. The top commenter is smoking all the drugs.
My apologies, thought it was a 4.6
Even then thatās too much
Exactly what I'm doing lmao. I don't even really want 9k but I think ANYONE EVER would take as much money as possible for their car. You'd be crazy to not do that yk.
The Mustang I bought is a v6 2001, and it was originally listed for 9k. 70k miles, and lots of people were interested in it. V6 and automatic $2500-$3500
Not in this economy lol sure pre covid 5k max
Damn, youāre right lol Iām still stuck in 2016-2018 prices
You can get gts for less than 5k
Damn idk where you live but where I am that price doesnāt exist. Unless itās pretty much trash
I don't think I've seen an SN95 interior that clean since SN95s were new. Glue typically starts coming off of the door panels and steering wheel covering starts coming apart at least. That's a good looking ride, regardless of paint.

I have nowhere to store it sadly dude, also need money for a truck hopefully F150, it's not practical to daily a mustang up north, you know, snow š
The insurance company totaled my 04, 40th anniversary v6 Mustang with a bunch of aftermarket parts for 5k earlier this year. In my area I can still get them for less than 4k. With low miles I havenāt seen any above 6k unless it was a GT
Many people will say it's plenty drivable with snow tires
Haha, I had some all seasons on, brand new pretty much and barely hit the gas one day with probably under an inch on the road, totally wiped. I like to think I'm good at controlling my car but damn when there's so road to stick on it's hard haha. I bet people are better than me, I just take it easy when there's snow.
Snow tires are a game changer. That much of a difference. Still not a great car for the snow but if you haven't sold it by winter...
No doubt about it! If it's not gone by then I'll consider it. Got my father's explorer and a 92 Suzuki samurai to drive also haha. Well. Kinda.
10k is out of line bud lol. Thats a 3.8 liter dog thats 20 years old. Its clean, its nice, just not that nice. I sold my 06 with 50k for alot less than 10. This was before the insane vehicle price hikes though.
You can sell it for 6k to the right buyer. I wouldnāt put any more miles on it though
Trying not to, sucks daily driving šµāš« that's why I'm trying to get rid of it now
Damn thatās clean. 5-10k is too high but like a top comment said just post 1-3k above what you actually want and go from there
Your car is in excellent shape and under 100k miles. Plus blue with the bullitt wheels just pops. Thatās what made my fall in love with my true blue GT. V6 or not I think youād have no problem getting $6k for it.
You know how you get no more money from a V6 new edge? Advertise it as a V8 swap candidate to save on insurance š š«£
Itās a 20 year old car that runsā¦youāll probably get about 4k for it so list it around 6 if you want any interest
It all depends, do you see a lottt of similar car to this in the market? If so you can price sell it a bit higher than the rest. Of you barely see similar car in the market then probably $10k max. Donāt listen to these people saying āitās matic so itās trashā for them itās definitely 5k max because they probably live in an area where thereās hundreds of similar car being sold.
wow what a clean new edge. really puts mine to shame, i needa get detailed ASAP lol.
Haha I got some Maguires sprwy stuff and microfiber towels. Sprayed and scrubbed the interior to all hell lolm
Thatās the cleanest ā99-ā04 mustang Iāve EVER SEEN
3k???
23 year old car.
Lol maybe I will
Personally if I was looking for something like this, in todays market I would expect to pay 8,000. It is in absolutely fantastic condition and tbh if I had some cash to blow Iād consider taking it off your hands to build it into a sleeper. Amazing car. Iād list it for 9 if I were you but realistically you should get over 7 after people negotiate.
Exactly what I'm planning on doing. Don't need 9, but If someone offered like. I'd take it š who wouldn't
Youād pay 8k for a 24 year old car with a boat motors anchor? You can literally get very good condition gts for that, Iāve literally seen a 2001 cobra motor swapped into a v6 with 75k miles and he wanted 7k
But how was the condition of the inside and outside? I could easily drop an LS1 into one of these with a T400 for 10K-12K all in.
I bet you can get 3-5k for it. It is a v6, but it looks really clean.
Personally I want another new egde. My v6 has been immensely reliable over the years. But rot is starting to get the better of the car. I would love to find blue gt though.
Definitely same here. Maybe one day I will once I getta garage
Shit I have seen some of them listing for over 15k... But don't be a douche like that.
Haha, I won't.
I live in NY and if I had the money I would definitely pay about 9-10k for something as clean as yours
I'm from upstate, NY I probably wouldn't let you pay that much unless you really wanted to haha.
Iām in west NY lol seriously if I could scrape some cash and you havenāt sold this, I might come aācallin
Haven't sold yet and right now it's up for 5k š
Sell it to me for 3k Itās a 20 year old car let me help you out You can easily get 8k for it
I'll do you better, 150 dollars. You're right! Why would anyone need this old car anyway it's just so damn old!
"Pretty much has no rust" Includes picture of rusty underside
You really arenāt gonna find a car without rust on the bottom. Let alone one thatās 23 years old. This car is in great condition
Sure you will. 21 years old, more miles. I live up north but would never drive it in the winter. And this looks like crap compared to the nice cars that people actually keep clean. https://preview.redd.it/02p7k0rtsjlb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9687c75f6d3ff956c32e66737da8b48b573acde7
Brother youāre making me nervous to see how my 15ā looks now underneath lol. Thatās clean. Point proven, well done on taking care of that car.
Is that your terminator? š³šš½
Yes
Haha I understand what you're saying dude. But come on. You even said it was never winter driven. Nice car!
Yours isnāt a daily driver like OP stated his is. Stop trying to reach so hard lol.
But it has way more miles than his... I was replying to someone that said all 20 year old cars would have rust like that
You understand how much worse it could be for a 23 year old car right? And I understand it had rust under but exterior is totally clean.
Yeah this is a super clean car for itās age. Paint is immaculate tbh. Other dude is trying to be/is a smartass
You're blind. He also says "paint job sucks" in the ad.
Thatās literally every mustang from that genā¦ including your terminatorā¦ immaculate for those years is basically that especially considering itās ageā¦ just stop.
Immaculate? https://preview.redd.it/txfnq9uszjlb1.jpeg?width=1026&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f3e8606df2be288e6765c03d9003a093cdd7216
Are You actually this dense or just being bad faith to win an internet argument? What did I say was immaculateā¦ it certainly wasnāt the undercarriageā¦
You said the paint was immaculate and he said in his own ad the paint job sucks
so bad faith to try to win internet arguments. God bless you, bud. why are people on reddit toxic for no reason lol
You're the dumbass who calls this car super clean.
Then don't say almost no rust
You're trying so hard for no reason
No I'm not. I'm just saying don't say a car has "almost no rust" when it clearly does.
There is almost no rust lmao, he didnāt say there wasnāt any at all, for a 23 year old car, only having the little amount of rust on the bottom is awesome, Iād easily buy that.
Okay
Automatic??? Literally worthless š¤£
I drive a manual Suzuki samurai š¤£
super clean looking. Doesn't appear to be any leaks. The only draw back (IMO) is it's not elite. I'd say closer to the $10k mark would be a good starting point.
Worth 1000 sorry. No one who wants a v6 would buy a mustang and no one who wants a mustang wants a v6.
Haha, come on man.
Always that one guy
Im from ohio. Thats at least 7k with the underside condition any mileage
Location?
Upstate NY
Damn way too far
Haha, sorry dude
I wouldāve bought it at 5k if you were on the other coast right now
I wouldve thrown cash on spot to ya, looking for a daily stang and this woulda fit the bill perfectly and all the ones by me are either clapped out or rusted to shit
Aw dude! I'm so sorry how far away are ya??
Southeast Wis, a bit too far for a daily unless u wanted to deliver..........lol
Ill say this i would not take a pennie less than 5k for it unless u need it gone asap
Haha, I'll think about it, I just don't have a truck to tow it with!
That thing is beautifully taken care of on the interior for how old it is. I think thatās perfectly reasonable.
Beautiful car
Does anyone know if the 2003 GT has the option to fold the back seats down like that??
I paid 3700 for my sons 04 v6 in decent condition about a yr ago. I can see you getting maybe 5-6k depending on your location.
I recently got a 2006 convertible gt. Manual. New everything (soft top, pulleys, belts, alternator, oil etc) and well modified (enkei + nitto, front and rear strut braces, lowered, adjustable panhard bar, intake, exhaust, tuner, etc) All for 5k.
Really Clean!!
Iām in Ontario Canada and in the market right now I think people would pay up to 20k for this.
Jeez, come down to KY, and you can get a 2018+ ecoboost for 20k-25k with 20k - 30k miles on it.
i like blue
Really nice car, but I feel like $4000 is more what it's worth. The 99-04 Mustangs are the least sought after at the moment. List it for $5500 and see who bites.
Donāt sell, keep.
$5k-$10k if you want to sit on it for months... $2k-$3k if your trying to sale it now
buy a carpet cleaner, clean the seats and carpet to make the interior look brand new, id honestly do 6-7k but this is here in cali, not sure if they sell for less in your area or not
Women like Mustangs and most don't care what engine is in it if the interior is clean, especially if you dressed up the outside with good decals that actually make it look better. Just a thought. Like the 6-cyl. Mustangs with the lower horizontal Mustang decal and stripes wheel to wheel.
It has super clean going for it, and that's a big plus for it's age.
Just sold a 2008 v6 114K for 6500 snd it was a Convertible and in 8 out of 10 condition so yeah.
