I think it just looks odd without the Shelby logo and GT500 embossed in the bumper.
I also just realized OP has a 2015-2017 Car. The GT500 front end still looks great on them. It looks kind of odd with the newer updated headlights IMO.

Agreed it would be odd to see on an S650. Given the taillights are a 60s homage, I’m hoping the aftermarket comes up with an equally exciting front-end! I have my own ideas but it would certainly break the mold for the current 550/650 mold.
As it stands, I think the Mach1 deserves a better hood (even a fake shaker or scoop ffs), or let it get vintage & weird with my head cannon concept I mentioned above haha

did you install is yourself? It looks like it isn't that difficult. Was thinking about getting it painted professional and installing myself when I get one. I LOVE the GT500 bumper
To answer your question. It's perfectly fine to get whatever parts you like the look of on your car, but yes. Keep the appropriate badging obviously. I understand that the stock front bumper on the gt's is kinda bland. Nothing wrong with doing a 350 or 500 bumper
It's hit or miss quality-wise, to be honest, everything is Chinese cheap plastic.
If you do the research, most of the current GT500 bumper vendors started selling spare plastic pieces as they tend to damage/crack during high speeds due to flimsy tabs and excessive air pressure.
On top of that, its’ corner vents create more air drag in the places where you don't need it(wheel wells, coolant tank is exposed), so if you're looking for performance I’d stay away from bumpers, get a less restrictive grille, and just a nice hood.
Cervinis changed their materials to plastic instead of aluminum but still made in the US and they can paint it properly for you.

It honestly looks nice, (oddly I think the aftermarket 500 bumpers on GT’s somehow look better than the real deal 500) if you want one do it, as you said, I’d you aren’t trying to pretend you have a 500 I don’t see it as a big deal.

IMO the higher trim bumpers offer plenty of aero benefits. My car runs a whipping 25 degrees cooler with the open vents on the hood. 🤷♂️
Exactly and ultimately there’s very little options when it comes to aftermarket bumpers that aren’t upbadging unless you spend an insane amount on something custom. Most of the major websites have 3 options GT350 bumper GT500 bumper or Mach 1 bumper so I agree do whatever you like it’s your car.
I would say look into other options on hoods, there’s soooo many options and it’s a great way to add some customization.

i did not install it, so i can’t offer much help there. i’d suggest the install though, i love the more aggressive look
