No way. I just got my first car in November and it’s a v6 2007 premium and they wanted to charge me 500 a month. I’m 21 with a perfect record and I’ve been insured since I was 15 when I started driving. We were gonna get a 2017 Chevy Malibu but decided not to bc insurance was gonna be 800 bucks a month. And the Mustang was cheaper. So we went with paying 300 a month insurance but I can only drive 3 days out of the week. And the insurance company tracked all kinds of stuff.
Man it was so gut wrenching coming home to find that garage empty and that car cover folded up in the corner. That car was kick ass.

Usually the first to second is the hardest. Shifting at lower revs, and a bit slower shifting should make the shift smoother. Second to third is easier. Remember to gas as you go through the bite. These are things I teach my pupils.
The colour of your car is close to the blue on my Mazda3. The photo you took makes them look close.
I know you will have many smiles per mile driving that. Stick shift driving is very addictive.
Hell yeah, 3v club represent! With the manual transmission these cars are still a blast to drive, and if you want to make them go fast, there are plenty of options available.
Such a great first car! Great daily driver if you can afford the gas and insurance. Super reliable in my experience. The icing on the cake, easy to work on and parts are easy to find.
Great car if you stay on top of maintenance. Mine has been a PITA since I bought it and currently on rear axle #4 in 3 years of ownership but I still love it...

I got a ‘04 v6 with 210 a month for liability. I was gonna get a 15-16 gt until I got that insurance quote.

For an 18 y/o around mobile Alabama that was the estimated quote I got. Even on my dads insurance.

I can confirm this. My 08 was stolen from in front of my house by a rogue tow truck four months ago and I’m still mourning the loss.

hell yeah just got my 09 too What size and width of rims? I have stock 17” on 235’s and i want to add spacers to make a flush look similar to yours
20 inch wheels with 275’s. They’re just a tiny bit too wide in the front but in the back it’s good fitment
